Adios Mi Gossip Girl Adorada

And it took me a whole year to finally finally FINALLY face the music and watch Gossip Girl's sixth and last season's final episode. In spite of the fact that I have just watched GG, I already knew that Chuck and Blair got married (no thanks to ETC) and knew that Dan is Gossip Girl (not-so-special thanks to my cousin who 'revealed' who GG really is). Actually, I think I must have watched until the sixth episode last year then stopped because I DON'T WANT IT TO END JUST YET and Dan being revealed as Gossip Girl isn't enough to make me want to see the finalé. You know what did? When someone told me that Dan and Serena still ended up together.

Unfortunately, Blair, I don't share your sentiment
I've been the BIGGEST Dan + Serena 'shipper ever and I may have my momentary lapse in judgment when I went gaga over the the Dan + Blair pairing but you know me, I love love love witty bantering. But man, this scene where Dan and Serena went on their first date (is it? Argh, I can't remember. That was six years ago!)
and you could just see that Dan was really enamored with her. And notice that Dan still looks cute here, unlike right now wherein he looks like a Lyle Lovett twin.

Ahh, just how I imagined this show's ending would be- Serena and Dan still together. Loved how the ending was very similar to that first time Dan and Serena went out on a date (see first two stills) ♥ That after the shit they've gone through, they still ended up in each other's arms. Pero this scene- parang prom night lang. Haha. Demure-demuran ang lola Serena mo. Hindi lang prom night ang peg, 80s prom night pa with the shining shimmering gold bustier. Well, I expected her in a much gorgeous wedding gown but still I'm happy that these two end up marrying each other. And that is why Lily and Rufus were never meant to be. Which makes me wonder whatever happened to their love child, Scott. He just walked away and that's it?

Even if my favorite pair is Serena and Dan, neither character was my favorite. Blair is my queen bee. Though I didn't succumb to the headband craze cos seriously, I think it looks stupid on other people who are not Blair. Okay, so I think high school girls can pull it off but when grown women in their 20s are donning super burloloy-ed headbands a lá Blair, NOPE. I love Blair because she is witty. Mean, yes, but witty just the same. And man, I love her wardrobe. I've been a fan since that episode where she wore that white eyelet dress.
I remember I was always on the lookout for a similar dress. I think I did see one in SM Department Store but it cost around two thousand bucks and I am not spending that much on a dress. I was just starting out a business back then and broke. Well, even now that I have a little to spare I still wouldn't spend two kiaw on a dress. Thank God for cousins who gives tights for pasalubong (yes, that same cousin who spoiled the GG finale for me so I guess she's forgiven), I was still able to imitate Blair's fashion sense and I think that happened once and only once- New Year's 2009. Oh I think that didn't happen just once... I had my sister sew a cocktail dress similar to Blair's for a cousin's wedding (this is a different cousin though). But man, I wish I were 30 lbs lighter so I could dress like Blair and not look like a trying hard oompa loompa.

What I didn't like with Blair is that she is with Chuck Bass. Even until now that Chuck has "matured" and does not dress like Barney the Purple Dinosaur, he's still my least favorite main character. I guess first impressions last in his case. He was such an ass during the first two or three seasons and even if he changed after realizing he is in love with Blair for real, I thinks he's still an ass. And what's with the voice? Nakakainis. But eventually, I sort of have accepted that Blair and Chuck may be good for each other which still doesn't mean I like Chuck. I just learned to tolerate him.

Speaking of intolerable characters, we have Jenny Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams for that. And oh, I sort of didn't like Eric van der Woodsen as well. But nothing beats Jenny and Vanessa who I think top everyone's list of the Most Hated GG Character. However, even if I hated them, it still was nice seeing them in the final episode cos
like there's a closure for everybody. Yay!

Though I think it was sort of bitin when they didn't say what ever happened to Bart Bass's death. He's like one of the most powerful, richest men in New York and they're not going to investigate his death further? I'm sure if they bring in the CSI guys they'd find a strand of Chuck's or Blair's hair or their fingerprints in the elevator. And I just find it so weird that Lily didn't show even an ounce of sorrow upon learning about Bart's death. Well, he really must be that despicable.

So we all know that Dan is Gossip Girl. Funny how almost everyone thought it was Dorota. Dorota was the unexpected star of the show. It might seem that she only has this small role but everyone knows who Dorota is. My sister said that she should be Blair's maid of honor. She was with her through thick and thin and in spite of all the verbal abuse from Blair. I hope I find my own Dorota. Haha.

Actually lahat ng wish ko for Gossip Girl ay natupad. Ang lakas ko pala kay Stephanie Savage
who I think looks like Emma Stone. Haha. Diba, she looks like Emma Stone?

Wow it's officially over for me since I have seen the final episode and also the special retrospective episode. I was in denial for too long, distracting myself with The Carrie Diaries and Sebastian Kydd. But just like what Blair said-
I guess there's nowhere to go but forward and on to Hart of Dixie. Yay!

I really should get that visa application started already because I still want to go on that Gossip Girl tour and it's been a year since the show's off air so I am worried that they have stopped offering it already.
oh yes I did
but I should remember to
keep my expectations low
Wow naman sa motivation ko. Oh well, 'til the next TV series I'm gonna love unconditionally...

gossip girl 06x03: dirty rotten scandals

You know, I kind of feel for Sage. She has every right to be upset because Serena van der Woodsen is her frickin' stepmother. And to make matters worse, she goes on very preachy to Sage saying that rebelling against her father would only hurt her. Spoken like an experienced skankawhoreus.

ooh, it's the return of the culottes
Omigaahd, I so hate Serena van der Woodsen for doing that to Blair!!! Just because she wants to save face, she jumps into another conclusion without finding out the real story and walks out on Blair's baby. Blair is the victim here. She was just being nice to Serena (so okay, she also needed another "it" girl to model for her) and look where it got her. Serena, Ingrata.

Gossip Girl is doing damage to NYC's reputation- now I think the Upper East Side is teeming with skanks and asshats. And speaking of asshats, Dan Humphrey is, so far, this season's ass-est of asses.

I think the length of Dan's hair is proportionate to his level of arse-ness. Remember that he was semi-kal when he was still cute and nice Lonely Boy, and now that his curly bangs banging, he's so not nice and cute anymore. And then he breaks Nelly Yuki's heart all over again. What an asshat.

As with Blair's fashion disaster, she is totally not the person to blame. Eleanor is. She takes with her husband to who-knows-where and leaves the reins of her business in the hands of her immature daughter who hasn't even graduated from college yet and doesn't have any experience with running the business or any business for that matter. And oh, the clothes were so Cinderella (a local apparel store) circa 1990s.

And because of this episode's last scene and Dan's asshatness, I think I'm crossing over to Team Chuck.

Finally, Chuck has let go of his arseness; he's finally matured. Slight. I do hope Blair follows suit soon.

Not really loving how things are going in the series and as I've said I still watch it because of Blair and the possibility that the show will have some kind of redeeming qualities toward the end that will justify all the time I spent staring at my downloads, waiting for it to finish and actually watching each and every episode at least twice. I still have high hopes for you, GG. Please do not disappoint. XOXO

Apparently, reading this is more interesting than GG's newest season. Unconditional love, y'all, unconditional love.

gossip girl 06x02: high infidelity

So tell me, is Georgina Sparks harboring some sort of obsession over Dan Humphrey?

I'm guessing YES since she's staring at Dan while he is sleeping and she did tell him that he was her baby daddy. At first, I thought she did lie to Dan about the pregnancy because it is in her grand revenge plan on Serena & Co. But judging from this picture, she does like Dan. But why does it feel creepy? When Pacey was staring/looking at Joey Potter while she was sleeping, it didn't look creepy. It actually looked sweet. Bakit ganun?

Blair really hasn't learned anything, has she? Most especially that she's taking over her mother's business, she needs all the connections she can get and she has burned a lot of bridges since high school days so I guess I'll just have to wish her good luck. Ha. One of Blair's erstwhile minions, Nelly Yuki, pays Blair a visit not to beg for reinstatement as what Blair thought but to interview her. What comes around goes around nga naman, haha!

aww.. Nelly Yuki's all grown up! I can still remember her profession of undying love to Dan Humphrey
I really, really thought Blair has matured already. Apparently, not. Oh, I see she's sporting a headband AGAIN. High-school mode ON.

You see, that is why Blair is better with Dan. I think we have already established that Blair and Chuck do not do each other good. Okay they love each other, but they do not bring the best out of each other. But Dan and Blair, they're good for each other. Their love may not be the same intensity as Chuck and Blair's, but it is a great love just the same.

Nakakaloka. Hindi lang pala si Blair ang hindi pa natututo. These kids should have known better than to keep secrets (and more secrets) from their loved ones/ special someones and to just jump into conclusions. So when Serena sees his newest boytoy with another girl who turns out to be the Nate's newest conquest, she instantly arrives at the conclusion that he is cheating on her. And since Nate saw that too, he broke up with the "girlfriend" right away, via voice mail. How classy.

Turns out that Sage aka Nate's newest conquest is the daughter of Steven aka Serena's latest boytoy. How much more complicated can their lives get?

So anyway, I thought I really like Lily that even if she's obviously the original skank. I thought I could forgive her man-hopping but when she dropped Rufus like a hot potato when Bart resurfaces, I know she's a bad woman.

I mean, can you really switch your feelings on and off just like that? Bart gives her a necklace and all's forgiven and forgotten... Sad.

And speaking of Lily, we have already established that Serena was created in Lily's image and likeness ergo Serena will be another skank-a-whore just like her mother.
Serena as a parent? Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.
And seriously, Serena, WTF?!? Being in Gossip Girl is NOT something to be proud of. Skank.

gossip girl 06x01: gone maybe gone

This might be Gossip Girl's last season so I'll try to do this religiously and not skip an episode. After all, I have unconditional love for this series that even if they start their latest (and supposedly, last) season with all things wrong, I'll still stick with it. Oh man, this will be hard.

Serena's gone. Again. You know, I'm really wondering if these people around here are really her family and friends. I guess hindi uso sa kanila ang KIT (keeping in touch) even at this day and age of the internet, where it's easy to foursquare your "peeps" where you at. Haha.

So if I were Serena van der Woodsen and with a mother like Lily, I'd probably hate my life as well.

Speaking of Lily van der Woodsen Bass Humphrey Bass, how on earth could she just hop from one man to another? Now we know whom Serena takes after. Apparently, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Ho ho! [pun intended] So now the Bart Bass is actually alive, she just shoos Rufus back to Brooklyn. Just like that.

Now let's move on to Rufus Humphrey. What can I say about Rufus... well, he's a one-hit wonder going through a midlife crisis not exactly nailing Picasso's leftovers, just young, Hollywood-wannabes.

In GG's first season, I thought Rufus was this principled, good dad to Jenny and Dan but what a disappointment he turned out to be. First, he cheats on his wife with Lily (but then again, his wife cheated on him first so I guess quits lang sila), he wasn't able to stop Jenny from being a monster and he let Dan out of the house with this hair

Lyle Lovett, isdatchu? Seriously, Dan, what were you thinking? I really miss Dan Humphrey from Season 1.

{source}
I guess he has to have a hairstyle worthy of Dan Humphrey, the asshat, five seasons after.

And the biggest disappointment is Chuck and Blair back together again. I know not a lot will agree with me on this, with the proliferation of Chair (ugh! stupid name compounding) pages on Facebook, but I really do think Dan and Blair are more perfect for each other. But can you blame Blair for ditching Dan when his hair is looking like this:

I like second-guessing these series, so here's my fearless forecast~ in the end, it'll be Dan and Serena all over again. I really miss Season 1, I'm even hearing Angels and Airwaves's The Gift playing in my head. Yes, that song playing in the background the first time Serena and Dan went out on a date. Gaaahd, I miss those. Medyo nadisillusion ako ng unti when GG suddenly took the road most taken- Melrose Place. Ha.

I really, really hope episode 2 will be better and promising of an interesting season ahead of us.

gossip girl catch-up post

I am absolutely for Dan+Blair not because of anything else but that Blair can still be her old self around Dan. Sure, she loves Chuck but the two of them is just way too complicated that they just end up hurting each other. And Louis, he's not the man that Blair used to like and please, that annoying accent has got to go away. Pero in fairness, Louis isn't as annoying as Jenny and Vanessa.

I think that it's just so sweet of Dan to be there for Blair even if it is not doing anything in his favor and for this reason alone I really really REALLY want them to end up together. And Dan being in love with Blair is killing Serena and her ego; ergo, I am so for it.

Alright, Blair obviously loves Chuck that she's willing to do what should be done even if it means the end of her happiness. I just love that scene when she was praying to God, that He has already taken her baby so please save Chuck in exchange for any chances of being with him and the door suddenly opens and the nurse said that Chuck is asking for her. But after making that pact with God, she feels that it is unfair to live like that and asks the priest if God would understand if she breaks off her engagement and go back to Chuck and then she looks out the window and sees...

Chuck, almost got hit by a cab. God's [or the universe's] way of telling her they can never be.

So anyway, Dan and Blair have been spending so much time together that Louis is suspecting that they are having an affair. So to dispel the rumors and not let Blair's secret out when Dan was pushed to the wall and pressed for answers, Serena saves him by saying Dan is going out with her again. But oh I bet she really wants Dan back. Yes, let's torture Serena and her ego ☺
Serena's all contemplative about that midnight kiss with Dan
but Dan couldn't care less...
BOO-YA!
I feel sorry for those who stopped watching GG after that horrendous third season because they didn't stay long enough to this awesomeness that is the fifth season. I LOVE EEEET! Unconditional love, y'all!

Sobrang pa-martyr si Dan. Oh well, I guess the next best thing to being Blair's boyfriend/better half/etc. is being her confidant. But writing Louis' vow for Blair? That one I don't get but yeah, I guess he really loves Blair. Again, I really feel Blair must have been saint in her past life to deserve all these good karma [read: three good-looking boys who love her]. And yes Serena, you should really be jealous at ang loka puma-paraan pa...

super tv (any)day

GG is back in business, y'all! I don't care if people are saying that this Dan + Blair thing is fake or whatever they call it but I am loving it! I always knew these two have a future together but then again I would have to wait for episode 18 to be sure which will be on April 18 pa. Torture, much?

Episode 16: While You Weren't Sleeping
[Just a side note- caught While You Were Sleeping (Sandra Bullock, Bill Pullman) on Fox TV and that movie has got to be one of my favorite movies of all time.]

♥ During the start of the show, I was questioning why Dan kept on hanging around Blair. But when Dan admitted to Blair that she was hanging out at Blair's office because he was avoiding Serena + Ben, at first I was like "Aaahh!!" but then I kinda realized that there are other places in NY aside from "the loft" and "Blair's office."
♥♥♥ this is going to kill vanessa abrams and i wanna see it when that happens ♥♥♥
♥ GG is doing perfectly fine without Vanessa (and Jenny Humphrey, too), so why bring her back? I swear that girl is such a trepadora. Ew. Ew. And ew. Vanessa is "the pus that infects the mucus that cruds up the fungus that feeds on the pond scum" and whether we like it or not, looks like she'll be back cos bitch has information she can use to make herself significant again.

♥ I loved the scene when Eric says that Damien needs his $100K and then Dan says that's insane cos who has that much money, then Blair, Serena and Eric all had this "look" that says "umm... we do." I just find that scene funny.

♥ And correct me if I'm wrong but I thought only the person himself can attest to the authenticity of one's signature. In the case of Serena and Lily, Serena just have to say that yes, it is her who signed the affidavit and Lily won't have to go to jail. Anyhoo, I think these people would find a way to get Lily out of jail in no time.

Episode 17: Empire of the Son
Obviously, I don't really care that much about Bass Industries and I am not a fan of that Raina and I am not paying much attention to her and to whoever she's gallivanting with. So even if the main-main plot happening here is the Bass Industries-Chuck-Lily-Thorpe thing, I gravitate towards the Dan + Blair angle.
Giddiness galore!!! But this kiss at the end of the episode doesn't guarantee that they will be an item. It is possible that the next scene here will be similar to that when Rachel Berry and Blaine kissed, which I hope would not be the case because I'm really really really vying for this pairing.

To some, Dan + Blair maybe weird, contrived even, but I like it. If this were to push through, I'd be the happiest GG fan ever ☺

gossip girl catch-up night

From episodes 11 to 15, in one sitting. After all, sinusulit ko na ang nalalabing araw ng aking kalayaan. When Glenda leaves, I have no one to man the shop which leaves me no choice but be there all day.

I am so satisfied with the last five GG episodes I saw. I think I have never been this satisfied with GG since the first season which I still think is the best of 'em all. I'm going to keep this short...
  • Now it has been established that Serena took after her mother when it comes to being slutty. Man, they've been around! Seeing her mother like that, Serena should've known better than monkey-see-monkey-do. I guess she wants to give her mother a dose of her own medicine but then again she's only going to self-destruct. Plus, all this family drama among them, they're dragging innocent people down along with them. Sheesh...
  • Speaking of collateral damage, take Ben, for example... Three years of his life wasted and he can never get back because of the warring mother & daughter. Since we're on the topic of Ben na rin naman... if I were Juliet, I'd kill him. Juliet went through all that trouble of getting back at Serena, even costing her a possible lovelife with man-whore Nate, and then she'll only find out that Ben's dating her! I wanna see how this ends... Though Ben is kinda cute
  • Serena & Lily reminds me of Sharon & KC. Wala lang.
  • Watching GG for four years now... though I'm not so sure if the show is an accurate representation of how the filthy rich and fabulous live their lives, I think I can conclude one thing from this- that the rich know how to manipulate those of the lower social classes with their money. Sad but true. Though I still have faith in the Law of Compensation...
  • Naaawa ako kay Rufus... trophy husband, always nakabuntot kay Lily. Seriously, he doesn't have something to call his own now.
  • And Eric... haaay, can't he just stay on the down low on this show FOREVER!?! Cos I think not only his family doesn't notice him, the audience also doesn't notice him. Haha. How harsh. I'm just annoyed at how him in these recent episodes. Anubah!!! If he doesn't have friends, there must be something wrong with him!!! And everybody else has their own big issues, why bother them with yours? Ayaw lang ata ni Eric malamangan siya ni Serena. Siguro sa isip niya, "akala mo ikaw lang ang mago-Ostroff?" Ikaw na, Eric. Ikaw na!
  • Second best thing about these five episodes- walang Jenny Humphrey at Vanessa Abrams.
  • And my favorite thing about episodes 11 to 15- Dan + Blair. I've been waiting for forever for this to happen BUT it hasn't happened yet and I should know better than to keep my hopes high. Note to self: Lower your expectations. But can you blame me? I've grown to love the tandem that was Blair + Chuck, but I know Dan + Blair would be awesome ♥

Dan and Serena doesn't even have a common interest- apparently, they're just both bedazzled by Serena's beauty. But Blair + Dan, they have a common interest in movies! Kinikilig ako hihi Although impossible (because of their shared enmity towards each other) this Blair + Dan angle is still probable. I'm looking forward to next week's episode.

super tv tuesdays

Buti na lang may sakit ako, at least I can justify the back-to-back posts on Gossip Girl and Chuck. I can't sleep so I just sat in front on my computer and posted away :)

Gossip Girl S04 E06: Easy J
Oh Blair, I thought you've moved on? Really, this is one episode where I think I'm on Jenny's side instead of Blair's. This time I think Blair has gone overboard. I would understand if Little J unleashes her raccooned-eyes alter-ego.

Serena focusing on her future instead of boys? That'll be the day. Ha.
Parang hindi pantay boobs ni Serena
Tim Gunn guest stars! I miss Tim Gunn's Guide to Style.

Just when I thought it was just another so-so episode of GG, the story took a twist near the end and made everything beautiful :)
Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
Well that's alright because I like the way it hurts

I used to be skeptical of Blair + Chuck's relationship but it's pretty obvious that I have grown to love them as a pair.

Juliet, Juliet... tsk.. still props to her for wearing that dress the whole day and she even went to the prison in it and still she looks stunning.

What a small world they're living in? Looks like Serena made the right call tonight...

Chuck S04 E06: Chuck Versus the Aisle of Terror
Hmm... I'm pretty speechless now. I'm pretty tired and must go to sleep now.

I hope to get better tomorrow because it sure sucks to be sick even if it's the perfect excuse to stay at home and just bum around. I'm taking my meds and I must have drunk 5 liters of water, so hopefully that should do it.

super tv tuesdays: backlog edition

Gossip Girl S04 E05: Goodbye, Columbia

*Chuck has declared war on erstwhile lover Blair. I wonder what is it with Eva that Chuck really felt the need to avenge for what Blair did. What's weird is I would understand it more if Chuck did it just for the hang of it; because I don't think that Eva was worth all this.

* I really can't imagine how open these people are with cohabitation and by open I mean Rufus knows that Dan and Vanessa are living under the same roof. I hope Dan breaks up with her because he's the only reason she still hangs around.

* Yes, Serena has got quite a reputation but if there's someone who has to be tested for STD, I feel it has to be Vanessa. Serena has slept with Nate and Dan, but Vanessa has slept with Nate, Dan and Chuck. Seriously, these kids on the Upper East side have 'been around' and what's sick is they still hang out together. If there's someone who ought to be tested, they should all be in line.

But after this episode's final scene, yea I think Serena's the major skeeze in this series.

* After three seasons of lies and betrayal, these people should have known better than to trust new people and by new people I mean Juliet. Why would Dan believe Juliet more than Vanessa? While I am more of the belief that Nate would believe Juliet's lie because clearly the guy wants to get some. Manyak. I'm just saying that these people should be more wary of who to trust. But still I'm happy about the possibility that Vanessa could be absent on the next episode. Though I shouldn't be too happy because it's the return of the comeback of Jenny Humphrey.

* One thing I learned from this episode: Always close your bag zipper.

Chuck S04 E04: Chuck Versus the Coup d'Etat
* Seriously, Morgan is a liability to Chuck and Sarah's relationship. Plus, Chuck should know better than to listen to Morgan's advice.

* Another liability to Chuck and Sarah's relationship and missions is Chuck's being over-talkative and being one at the most inopportune time. Chuck must learn how to zip his lip like a padlock. Sheesh, a Ke$ha reference.

* Awesome's awesome. Forget Chuck. I'd rather have my own, personal Devon ☺

* That background music when Sarah was trying on bikinis... brings me back to my childhood and Sleepwalkers. That movie made me scared of cats although it's weird because cats were the heroes in that movie, so to speak.

Chuck S04 E05: Chuck Versus the Couch Lock
* Morgan's cute. Haynako, type ko talaga ang mga supergeeks, haha. Every time I say super, I see a red cape in my mind. I blame How I Met Your Mother. Anyway, it would be so funny if Alex and Morgan end up together-together. I just can imagine Casey's face. Haha. "You break her heart, I'll break your everything."
* Now, Chuck obsesses about locating his mom. All signs say that "Frost" aka Chuck's mom is with the bad guys but I feel that she's there against her will. And why do I have a feeling that Chuck's dad and mom did what they did to protect Chuck. Hmm.. Wow ha, ganun pala ka-significant at ka-important asset si Bartowski.

Uy ha, getting kinda boring. Even Chuck is boring me. The only thing that's entertaining me in the past few episodes is Morgan. I hope Chuck steps it the next following episodes and I'm sure he will.

super tv tuesdays

After what happened tonight, I'm not really in a mood to write this but I'm OC and I don't want any bungi in my super tv tuesdays post.

How I Met Your Mother S06 E02: Cleaning House
How I hope I watched it now instead of yesterday because it sure would've pick me up from the rut that I am in tonight. I am so in love with this bunch and how I wish I am part of their (fictional) group. My favorites from this episode were Marshall's UNSUBSCRIBE and Ted's UNDERSELL. Aside from that, I can't remember anything anymore with these frickin' thoughts in my head.

Chuck S04 E02: Chuck Versus The Suitcase
Ooh, Karolina Kurkova guest stars! How could anyone this thin who's in stilettos, no less, outrun a CIA agent? Yeah, yeah, she's also a Fulcrum/Ring/some organized crime group -trained agent but still... with legs that narrow, seriously, I cannot imagine how.

Karolina Kurkova in all her naked glory- a treat and a threat for Chuck at the same time ;)

"I was in the buy more. everyone there  was super attractive and highly-skilled. it was like, i work there." Only Captain Awesome can get away with that.

Chuck has problem with Sarah's thing about not unpacking her stuff. This does not make him feel secure about their relationship, especially with Casey and Morgan adding salt to injury. Casey said that Sarah loves going to missions so much, as if hinting that Sarah loves missions more than Chuck. And Morgan telling Chuck that Sarah's unpacking issues is their relationship's Achilles heel.

Aah, Lester and Jeff are back putting some semblance of "normalcy" into the Buy More.
Entrance a lá X-Men. Matching wind-blown effect pa.

Gah! I am so in love with Chuck ♥♥♥ So adorkable :)

Gossip Girl S04 E03: The Undergraduates

How can you not know Serena? She's that tall blonde sashaying the streets of New York wearing next to nothing. Kaya naman huling-huli si Juliet na sinungaling kasi naman... And oh, this look on Serena's face when Juliet said the last key is Blair's-
she really thinks she's way above Blair.

Speaking of Blair, I still am on her side even if she can get real mean and selfish sometimes. Plus, I really really love her wardrobe! Though I must admit Serena's this episode wasn't bad. If these two stick together, they'll be frickin' awesome

But still I feel for Blair... how could Chuck replace her with Eva (Clemence Poesy). Blair's still much cuter, not that it guarantees anything. That look on her face, seeing Chuck's face light up upon seeing Eva.

'Til next week's episodes :) Wow, I feel so much better now.

super tv tuesdays

How I Met Your Mother S06E01: Big Days
TO EVERY THING THERE IS A SEASON
Just when I decided that Ted Mosby is too much of a hopeless romantic for my liking, I start to like him again. From watching all those love stories in movies and television shows, I've deduced that guys who are really into you will do anything and everything for you. And Ted Mosby is just so sweet. I want my own Ted Mosby. And don't get me started on Marshal- he's almost perfect! Well, if he has Josh Hartnett's face then he'd be perfect.

This is just what I need in a rainy day in my sucky crappy streak. Rachel Bilson guest stars so it's even more awesome ;)

Chuck S04E01: Chuck vs. The Anniversary
Are all spies good-looking? Yes, even Morgan is cute
My favorite team is back, y'all! First episode is freakintastic just as I expected though it seems I would have to re-watch the last few episodes from last season to remind myself what happened because I can't remember why Chuck bowed out from the spy life and were Chuck and Morgan surprised to see the Buy More in operation. I hope they keep it comin' for the probability of a fifth season. This show is just pure awesomeness and I can't see why some people just can't see that.

It looks like the spy life is usual of the Bartowskis. Again, I forget how Chuck all of a sudden had the interest to look for his mother. I completely have no idea where in season 3 that angle was injected. I really would have to review my past season. It's a shame, I know. Anyway, now we know Mommy Bartowski is a spy and also kicks-ass though I would still prefer that Chuck's dad is still alive. I hope his mom doesn't turn out to be an evil Fulcum/Ring/New Ring agent. No more double agents, please!

Chuck + Sarah. Two people I've waited three years for to couple up. I still get kilig over them but not as kilig when they weren't together-together yet. There's something about love that can never be... I hope they could include some kind of conflict in this couple's love story. I don't think I would like to see them all lovey-dovey the entire season. I want some conflict!
If I were Sarah, I'd melt
But yeah, I think they're perfect together ♥

Gossip Girl S04E02: Double Identity
Blair & Chuck breaking each other's heart, tearing each other apart
Today's episode didn't disappoint. This means I'm in love with you again, Gossip Girl. Episodes like this is what I live for even if an ideal GG episode for me would be one without Jenny Humphrey, without Vanessa Abrams and Serena with a hurt ego. So this episode was .1 short of being my ideal episode. Why can't Vanessa Abrams just kill herself.

Chuck Bass/Henry donning a walking stick? How apt. I've always likened him to DOMs (dirty old man). I know a lot of girls who like Chuck Bass because of his cockiness but I prefer the Chuck Bass in today's episode. He could be Chuck Bass and still act gentlemanly, right? Who said you have to be douche-y if you're filthy rich? Though I guess that is his appeal.

I feel for Blair. Just when she thinks she's ready to move on already, fate suddenly dangles Chuck right in front of her. Oh Blair, you must have done something very bad in your past life to deserve this. But you know what? I think I would still want that cos it means I would have all those adorable clothes. Materialistic, I know. Sorry, walang basagan ng trip.

Dear Blair and Chuck, ENOUGH already! Before, I couldn't imagine these two working up a chemistry but I was proved wrong. They're practically the only story angle worth following on GG.
Blair: Changing your name doesn't change who you are.
Chuck: It's a good start. A chance to live simply, earn people's respect. Maybe become a person someone could love.
Blair: Someone did love you... and you owe it to her and everyone else you're leaving behind not to run away, which is what you're doing. And I don't think that great man you're talking about wanting to be is a coward. I think he would face up to what he did.
Chuck: I destroyed the only thing I ever loved.
Blair: I don't love you anymore. But it takes even more than you to destroy Blair Waldorf.
Chuck: Your world will be easier if I didn't come back.
Blair: That's true but it wouldn't be my world without you in it.
I die. Whyohwhy do these people torture themselves?!?

Vanessa and Dan really deserve each other. One's a douche and the other one's a hoe. Now I totally get it why Blair doesn't like those two- they're both ICKY.

Also, are barely-there brows the new shizz in fashion? Well, looks like I can join that bandwagon effortlessly. I just would have to skip the brow pencil and voila! If this really is happening trend, looks like Victoria Valerio aka Gretchen Barretto would be plucking a whole lot of hair out.

So grateful for torrents because had they not existed, I would still be waiting for forever to have access to these shows. Glee tomorrow but I'm not too excited about that one, let's see. Oh Tuesday, please be here already!

GG s04 e01: belles de jour

B, what are you doing? Cinderella did not google Prince Charming!

Yay season 4! Not that I'm that excited because Gossip Girl has lost its chutzpah. Promiscuity isn't the only thing that sells, people!

♥ Totally ignorant if these kids' lifestyle is probable in real life but I wish I also could afford to shuttle to and fro New York and Paris. Two of the most beautiful cities in the world and both are pedestrian cities.

New York, I love you
Paris, je t'aime

Ahh, to be rich and fabulous! One day, you could be walking the streets of Paris, sitting at a Paris café while taking a sip from your cup and people-watching then reading a book in a bench in Central Park the next. Aside from Blair, another reason why I keep watching is the beautiful cityscape.

♥ I love Blair but sometimes she could be so daft. Well, I didn't see it coming either but my sister already already knew it. Maybe it's karma way of getting back at her. Though my sources tell me that this is not the last time we'll be hearing from our prince ;)

I hope the next time she doesn't let go of this cutie. Blair should have not laid her cards on the table this early. I really like her and I really want her to have a happy ending. She is too afraid that people are like her- very suspicious of other people's motives- that she often gets caught in her own traps. So here's a lesson to us girls, bawal magsungit dahil baka milyonaryo pala siya.

♥ When Rufus Humphrey speaks, it seems as if he has been a hands-on father to his children. I mean, he's barely even there for his kids. No wonder Dan and Jenny turned out like that. All Rufus does is whine about his children to Lily. Clearly, these two really don't make a good pair because they just let their children loose in the city. He knows where to find Dan and if he's not picking up, why not pay him a visit, dumdum? And now he's asking Dan why he didn't come to him when Georgina first showed up? Obviously, he hasn't been much of a father to him.

♥ What's with Serena? Seriously, Skeezy Serena should be arrested for indecent exposure. And if she really is Blair's best friend, she wouldn't show up on their double date dressed like this:
hello there Serena's butt cheek
Skeezy Serena knows Blair is insecure of her so why does she go around looking like that. Oo naman, Blair's insecurity shouldn't stop Serena from being herself (which is a skank) but on occasions such as this aka Blair's date with a supposed royalty, she should play down her skankiness and give the limelight to her friend. Agaw-eksena lagi ang lola mo so I think she deserves this
Blair must have done something terrible in her past life to deserve Serena.

♥ I thought Dan's supposed to be smart? Whyohwhy? You have been duped by Georgina Sparks, not once, not twice but thrice! And he's also supposed to be street smart- why Dan? WHY? I miss first-season Dan.

♥ I know why Chuck would want to leave his old life- the people around him are toxic- but I'm not so sure what are his motives for doing so. Is he leaving his privileged life behind for real or he's just planning for the perfect comeback? Yet I still can't believe how nobody recognized Chuck Bass when he lays unconscious in the streets of New York. And what's more unbelievable was Gossip Girl missed this? Akala ko pa naman all-knowing siya.

♥ If I were Blair, I'd prefer a guy who drives his own car than someone who gets chauffeured around. Having someone drive you around when you're a guy sounds so gay.

♥ The best for last- did you notice how skinny they all are? Do these people ever eat? Sell-out Vanessa seems to be getting tinier and tinier every season, a few more seasons and she might vanish into thin air.

Anubah!!! I swear I'm only sticking to this series because j'adore Blair Waldorf and because of the breathtaking cityscapes. Double Identity better be awesome.
