still alive and kicking

This must have been the longest I haven't blogged which is actually a good thing because it means I am TOO BUSY with more relevant stuff. Haha. December was CRAZY and although I looooved being busy with orders and holiday whatzits, I surely missed kicking it back and relaxing. Ngayon pa lang ako nakapahinga which technically isn't 'rest' since I am doing clean-up galore. I literally turned the whole house into my workplace. All my stuff were strewn everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE. My gallon containers were in the living room, the library was filled with uncut labels, plastics and products and my bedroom was filled with boxes boxes and more boxes. I'm just thankful for the help and support of my family. Kahit ginawa kong tambakan ang bahay eh hindi nagreklamo. But really, I need to think of something regarding storage.

My resolutions last year were pretty general so I really couldn't tick off those that were accomplished. Well, for starters, let's just say that my perennial resolution which is to LOSE WEIGHT wasn't done. I actually gained weight. Bah. The upside is that I lost the additional weight naman. As for the 100 movies for the year, that wasn't met as well, which is perfectly okay. And my number this 2011 is higher than 2010 so okay na rin. As for books naman, I finished 13 books ☺ One per month which is still a far cry from 2 per month or 24 titles. Still no daily morning routine, no lovelife and I still can't bake a cupcake for crying out loud. But what the heck, I am enjoying life and who cares if I can't bake a cupcake when I can just buy one.

I will try to concoct a more comprehensive, quantifiable New Year's Resolution List for 2012 because for one, it is fun being able to tick one item off at a time from the list and the goals are much clearer. Later when I'm done with organizing shizz because I want to start 2012 with orderliness and everything in its proper place.

Later, loves ♥

thanks to my pans

At long last. Finally done with my grand bazaar event. Although I haven't done my financials yet, to see if I really ROI'd. Hopefully I did because I would sure feel bad if I didn't because I put so much effort, sleepless nights (actually more on 2-hour sleeps) plus andami ko pang taong inabala. I feel so loved ♥ Not only by the people who helped me get through with this little annual project of mine, but also by all my "fans." Tsarot.

Five Four days of sweat, laway and libag. We closed for one day because the guards didn't let my representatives in because they didn't have IDs. Sayang sa rent pero at least it was the day with least attendance. But still, that's 3,500. I can buy a pair of Birkenstocks with that amount. And oh, I ran out of stocks by the second day and we had nothing to sell by the third day. So I harnessed my hidden superpowers and whipped up, more or less, 200 bottles of scents. Who would've thunk? Thunk you. So by the fifth and last day (holiday and sweldo day!) we already had stocks to sell. Loves it. Thank You.

By the way, I had my little misadventure on the third day. A lot of events led to my misadventure happening but I'm too lazy to retail the series of unfortunate events. Let's just say I spent ten hours (TEN HOURS!!!) on the road, going to Alabang then back to Makati then home. At hindi siya joyride. Nakakiyak na ride. Pwe. I was supposed to go to the bazaar via bus because I wasn't able to hitch with AD. I was already there in Starmall Alabang which was apparently just minutes away from AAV. Kaloka. I asked barkers, security guards, a random stranger on the street and nobody knew how to get to ATC. Like I'm from Pasig and if someone asked me how to get to Megamall, I could answer them in a heartbeat. I really wanted to take a taxi but it costs P350. Kahit sa gate lang. If they were to use the meter, it would cost only P70. WTF. Kaya hindi umaasenso Pilipinas, gulangan lahat eh. So ang ending- I took a jeep which the driver said would pass by ATC. Mali ko naman eh hindi ko sinabi na ibaba niya ako sa ATC. I just assumed that he would tell me when we're in ATC already. Which he didn't. I just realized naligaw na ako when we passed by Juno's village. I got off the jeep, called her and asked if she's home. Thankfully, she is. I was bawling with inis. Hindi cry. Bawl talaga. I was super frustrated, tired and lugging around KILOS of stuff. But then again I was able to pay Juno a surprise visit- surprise sa kanya at surprise para sa akin. At least, win-win situation. Dava? And I was also able to go to my supplier for my materials. Okay. Repeat after me: Everything happens for a reason.

Hindi nako nakaikot sa bazaar. I wanted to buy myself some V-neck shirts but since we're really busy with last-minute production (aka labeling), no chance to gallivant around. Plus, I haven't done my financials yet so I don't know if I have K to spend. Haha.

Done with the bazaar. Will work on orders now. Toodles.

Happy 1st of December, everyone!!!

And on another note, I need a haircut NOW. Ang haba na ng hair ko. Literally.
