Excuse me, my life is waiting

I woke up early today. Supposedly, it is the start of the new level of Spanish language classes but much to my disappointment, it was dissolved because there weren't enought students. Peaches and I were already in IC and we tried calling up other classmates and we were able to find 7 more creatures to complete the class. Yay! Class starts next week.

What do we do when we're in Manila at 10am? Surely it would be impractical to just head home. Sayang ang pamasahe. At oras. Peaches and I decided to watch a movie instead. We watched Bewitched (Nicole Kidman). It was a so-so movie. The original series was so much better.

I bought 2 VCDs - Never Been Kissed and Pretty in Pink. I love teenybopper flicks. I guess that could be attributed to the fact that my high school life was boring and uneventful. I lurve watching teenybopper movies cos I get to live life vicariously through them. I swear all those kilig moments make me giddy. I want to start a movie collection of all teenybopper flicks. So far, I only have the following: 10 Things I Hate About You, Mean Girls, Never Been Kissed and Pretty in Pink. I want Some Kind of Wonderful, Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club and She's All That.

Finished watching Never Been Kissed. Michael Vartan is so cute! I wish I had a teacher who looked like that back in college. Well, we did have good-looking male teachers back in college but it's either he is gay or annoying for some reason I can't seem to put my finger on why they're annoying.

Finished watching Pretty in Pink. I LOVE THIS MOVIE! It is so cheesy but then again it is the basis of its appeal. It's really a nice, feel-good movie. It's just that 80s fashion was hideous. Guys wearing shoulder pads? Molly Ringwald's prom dress? Blech. And oh, Andrew McCarthy's cute. He plays the role of the rich and popular jock who falls for the poor girl. Ang cute. I have to see St. Elmo's' Fire and Mannequin and have my eyes feast on more of Andrew McCarthy's cuteness.
