week 17: smitten kitten in an uncomfortable domesticity

if i were not doing anything else, i can totally do this. but i am doing other things such as (quasi) running two businesses. akala mo naman kung anong business, ano? how can i concentrate on becoming a landlady of leisure when i am being bothered with these menial tasks? 

divi day with the t-party girls! lola christmas' last day in manila, before she flies back to singapore for work. growing up really sucks. first, you have to take on grown-up stuff like work, pay bills, etc. second, you have to make decisions- decisions that will actually affect the course of our lives and third, family and friends have to go to lands far, far away because of reason #1.
meet-up in front of binondo church with jo and juno, then we were off to our favorite chinese food place- wai ying. fiesta time na naman! catch-up over lemon chicken at kung anu-ano pang chicken, hakao, yang chow fried rice, et. al. waited for lola xmas to arrive. hurried kwentuhan as she had to run some last-minute to-dos and she has to make it to the airport in time for her flight. before the vax2j invade divisoria, had our starbucks stop! scoured the pasillos of divi mall and 168. only juno made a significant purchase- two pairs of jeans. magaling na sales lady si jo. puede na. pasadong-pasado. with flying colors pa. after our merienda of shawarma with cheese, we bid adieu and made our trips back to our respective homes.
these are the moments i wish i were stuck in my teenage years kasi wala naman akong angst hehe.

bank-hopping to pay taxes and AB's errands. daddy asked me to cook lunch- fried fish. eh hindi ako marunong so we had a tutorial on how to fry fish. success naman. in fernez. after my domestic duties, went to rome to do my biz duties. es muy dificil que no tengo un asistente para hacer trabajos manuales. boo. but i learned that patience is a virtue and this too shall pass.

annual physical check-up. had my blood tests but no x-ray and urinalysis, et al. their x-ray machine is broken daw. and i would have to go back tomorrow to submit my piss. grabe ang caritas- mga swindler! i can't say if other health insurance providers are the same. i can only tell my story with caritas. they have accredited doctors in big hospitals, etc but they insist that you to consult with their in-house doctors. i remember getting an loa for ultrasound at the medical city and they were really insisting that i do it in their clinic. why would i do it in their clinic when i can have it done in a big, reputable hospital with better equipment which, by the way, i my parents paid for?

i need my x-ray for my sanitary ek-ek so i can't for caritas to have their machine fixed and their antipolo branch is too far (buti if they have a shuttle). so i went to this cheap diagnostic clinic in santolan to have my x-ray done. it's cheaper alright but it's a fugly, low energy clinic. i got my x-ray naman and keri na rin for the price i paid haha. buti na lang i didn't stay long in there.inventory duty at rome (street) for may supplies.

errands!!! since my trip to the bank for AB's upou registration was not a success, i went to another branch where i successfully accomplished it without a glitch. walked to sle to pay my bills and transfer money to the maid coming from bacolod. and oh, i did iron clothes from morning til the afternoon 0:) yay for me! then i camped in front of the tv to watch prince william and kate middleton get married. 

juxtaposing with AD and AC. brunch at mcdo then they brought me to eastwood where i met with A. watched thor. dinner at ramen bar- lost! instant noodles tastes better. oh well, to each his own. since we last met each other two months ago, catch-up over ramen and mary grace cheese roll. hailed a cab going home. thank God for nice taxi drivers who don't ask for additional bayad. 

started our day early for our summer outing-cum-mommy's birthday celebration. made our way all the way to montalban. after two hours, made it to our destination- noah's park. originally, we were supposed to have this outing at splash island via this ensogo coupon/promo which has already expired before she can make a purchase so AD looked for another venue and found noah's park on the internet. my golly banana, jeje haven naman pala! haha. oh well. keri naman na kasi nag-enjoy si wakawaka.
