The Height

...of kajologan. Haha. Remember the locally-published book series I was so hooked into last Christmas holiday? Well, it's already a movie and will be shown in theaters on April 2 and I'm watching.

I feel so jeje. Haha. Seriously, I just made my Dorota (code name for my "assistant" since feeling ko ako si Blair, yes, emoterang frog ako) read it and she liked it. Kalurks!

Anyway... inasmuch as I wanted Star Cinema to make this movie, I think okay na ako with Viva Films and am relieved that, at least, the rights didn't go to GMA Films. Although initially I thought it was a GMA production dahil medyo sinetch itech ang lead actress. In other words, hindi kilala. Pero in fernez, may dating naman si lead actress and although some were saying she's just a Kathryn Bernardo look-alike, I'd have to say I like her better. Maybe I'm being biased since I never really liked Kathryn but I watched the movie trailer and Nadine Lustre (the lead actress) acts better than her and is less conscious in front of the camera. Of course the fantards would disagree.

The characters. I think I like the casting. They all fit into the characters in the book. Well maybe when I saw the trailer first I thought mas bagay si James Reid as Chad and Andre Paras as Cross, but after seeing a few more trailers and snippets, I am okay with the casting already. Only one thing- I wish they didn't stick to the half-British characterization of Lory dahil baka hindi mapanindigan ang British accent. It might sound too contrived ba.

Ang OA ng pimples, diba??? Parang ketong naman yun eh. May pattern pa! Anuberrr. But seriously, she's a better actress than KB.

And mas cute, imho. Wait lang, I wanna look for a Kathryn Bernardo clip on YouTube to better illustrate how conscious she is and that her supposed look-alike is better and more natural at acting. I can't find any. Sorry.

I'm excited pero secret lang natin ha, haha! I'm treating Dorota to the movies- we're watching Diary ng Panget on April 2. Ang pangit ng spelling ng 'Panget." Shet.

i wanna be a billionaire so friggin' bad

Had a verry long day yesterday. Tiring but I think I enjoyed it.

The rush could have been avoided had I not done all those things the last minute. Hey, not my fault this time. I was informed at the last minute that I have to come up with a new label ASAP. And my sister who's supposedly making labels and other stuff graphic artists do won't help me out. She wants me to send her an email for her to start working on my design. Anubah!? We live in the same friggin' house! Okay, bad vibes begone. To cut the long rant short, I was able to come up with a design all by myself... Wednesday night. And this is needed by Thursday at 2pm. In Trinoma. Obviously, I can't run to Megamall and have my labels printed. So I went to two printing shops near our place and it was actually a blessing in disguise, actually- it's better quality label-printing and I don't have to go far to have my labels printed ☺ I LOVE IT! See, God really works in wondrous ways. Anyway, I got my labels by 12 noon and I have to go home, put them on my bottles and rush to Trinoma to deliver them to AD who'll be meeting with her partner who has connections with a certain store. AD was with her friend, K who has been doing business like this for awhile. K shared her know-hows, experiences, etc. Na-inspire ako. I'm on a roll these days. Have to do something because I don't want to break the momentum.

Strolled in the mall by myself while they were having their meeting. Me in malls, all by myself = not a very good idea. This means I get to buy stuff. Yesterday, I bought (again) stuff for my eyebrows~

Revlon Brow Fantasy in Brunette

Sabagay, I've been planning to get one, napaaga lang. I still have handy-dandy Palladio brow pencil I bought last May but I reckon it's in a shade darker than my brows. I wanted a lighter one, hence this new brow pencil which comes with a brow gel that also comes in the same color. Though I usually steer clear of brow gels since they make my eyebrow area break out. I'll give this one a try and hopefully it won't give me brow pimples.

Note to self: Must not buy anything for my brows until December.

And since we're on the topic of kaartehan, I bought this online~

Tony Moly in Red Apple
Impulse buying ang tawag dito. The blogger wrote a good review for this product and before I knew it, I was filling up that order form. I'm keeping my fingers crossed... sana bagay sa akin yung color ☺

It really looks good naman on picture, diba? And it's a Korean brand so I guess it's good quality. This will come in from the mail by tomorrow. Exciiited!

I never imagined I would be this giddy over kikay stuff. Oh well~

Have to end this right now because I'll be going to get my nail done ♥♥♥ and oh, I also bought new nail lacquers for the spa~

Orly Matte Nail Lacquer in Iron Butterfly and Glam Rock
This one's justifiable. Haha.
Just a bit disappointed cos apparently they don't last as long as your regular manicure. They had to remove an ingredient which caused it to chip quickly. Fad nga daw eh, FAD! Okay, fine. Fashion victim kasi. Haha.

So there goes my mini-shopping escapade. Toodles~

More ditzy stuff for me

New guilty pleasure for me: The Hills.
I was reading this blog and she was promoting The Hills. I have heard of LC and Heidi but I haven't really seen any episode. The blog author said that LC's outfits are very nice so I just have to see it for myself. After watching one episode online, I am hooked. This is bad. I shouldn't have started with it in the first place.

Just one episode and I am already envious of LC because she got to intern at Teen Vogue. Teen Vogue! I love Teen Vogue! I would love to take Eva Chen's job as Beauty Editor. Kahit assistant beauty editor, okay na. I love trying out new facial wash, shampoos, etc. But honestly, I don't think Teen Vogue would have gotten LC if not for the show. Her interview was like, not how you should be in an interview. Like, if I were interviewing her... it would be like total turn-off. I wanna intern at Teen Vogue too, you know...

Heidi looked so much better before the "enhancements."

Heidi before...
Heidi after...
She just looks all trashy now. She looked perfectly cute back then. Guess people always want what they don't have :(

I swear all these stuff are killing my brain cells...

Guilty Pleasure

I like watching PBB Teen Edition. The 2nd batch is much more interesting than Kim Chiu's batch. Since this batch is comprised mostly of mongrels* rather than last year's mostly pure-blooded flips, I think this season will be much more interesting. Siempre, may mga culture clashes and that I've got to see.

*term I use to refer to halfsies, started to use the term when my cousin (who is half-Korean, Half- Filipino) and I got into this asaran fit and called her mongrel since she's mixed, and ever since I refer to anything mixed as mongrel...

And another reason why I like watching PBB is I crush Robi, the Atenean guy. He's cute. And smart. He's described as geeky and I think that being a geek is perfectly fine. Actually, I like geeks. Judging from the crushes I've had, most were geeks and payatot. Only one guy didn't fit the description... he's payatot alright but he's so far from being a geek... malayo... kasing-layo ng Pluto sa sun.

Coming from the rival school, it feels like I'm betraying my alma mater that I'm rooting for the enemy. But as the old adage goes, All is fair in love and war.
