Six of fifty-two: Sino'ng may S?

33/365: Spent the entire day watching a Korean drama and come sunset, I glanced outside and saw this. I tried to look outside but since the blinds were closed, I saw the shadow of the snowflake ornament I hung outside my window. The snowflake was there for almost two years now but it was the only time I saw it like this and I thought it was very pretty.

34/365: Obviously, I have plans of getting rich. Haha. Although I haven't really gotten myself to reading these yet. Used these books to get inspiration of corporation names. I'm trying to put up a corporation and start my business from step 1 para malinis at hindi pa magulo which is the case now and no thanks to St. Francis department store for that. Just wish me luck starting with a clean slate, at least with this one.

35/365: My cousin "promoted" my Facebook page and from 114 likes, I now have 143 likes. I think this is befitting of being my photo of the day for Project 365 since 1-4-3 is also known to mean as "I love you," and Valentine's Day is just around the corner. He he he :P

36/365: Running errands. Mail documents to New York. Pay AC's credit cards. Deposit funds. Free lunch c/o AC. I swear ang takaw ko because I ate a 2pc chicken, three pcs nuggets, a medium coke and a large caffe latte. Felt super bochog afterwards.

37/365: Meet-up with a customer. I'm happy that I've been receiving orders since the year started. Putting up an FB account for my colognes was a good decision. However, I should learn to insist delivery via shipping instead of meet-ups cos I end up spending what I made on that transaction. Ha ha. So here is my stash for that day- anti-pimple chuva. Snoe's Outzit was very effective but I wanted to try their other soaps so this time, trying out Awesome Poresome. Crossing my fingers here.

38/365: It was a very, very crappy day. I woke up already in a cranky mood. Lumayas for awhile and sought shelter in my sister's house. Playtime with ze other nephew who was making pa-cute while eating. Effective naman sakin. He he he. But happy mood was, again, momentary, and went home in a crummy mood again. Only Suburgatory made me laugh. Which, of course, was also momentary.

39/365: Woke up in a crummy mood. AGAIN. Alam niyo hindi ko naman ginusto na lagi na lang masungit and actually nakakapagod ang laging asar. But I can't help it. Sometimes, there just are days like these. Anyway, tagged along AC to her project monitoring at SM Aura. This picture was accidentally taken on my way outside the house. It was a surprise that it wasn't blurred since I was in motion and since I liked the shot so much, I made it my photo of the day ☺

I hope this week will be much much MUCH BETTER  because think all these negativity are taking a toll on my skin and I freakin' look like crap. While I was taking the pill, my skin was very well-behaved and the moment I stopped, my skin went berserk. Mas mataba pero good skin vs. mataba but fugly skin? Argh.

Five of fifty-two: Trying to get that feeling

I've wanted to do this Project 365 for a long time now, I think since 2009. At the start of the year, I always attempt but when it starts feeling like a chore, I stop. But now that technology permits me to do it easily, now with apps and wi-fi connection, I think I can pull this project through until the end of the year. But I think I also continue with my gratitude list, be more mindful of the blessings I receive, no matter how small it may seem. Anyway, I again forgot to do this week-in-review Project 365 last week so will be posting two weeks worth.
27/365: In an attempt to put up a new vision board, I was browsing magazines and found this Peanuts Got Milk? ad. I started collecting Got Milk? ads in high school. These ads got rarer as years went by but l and behold, I get a new one at Peanuts pa? Eh I love love love Peanuts ♥ So there, this was really a surprise and I was very much delighted by this find.

28/365: Mommy ran out of her 3-in-1 brown coffee stash so I had this for my morning coffee- freebie 3-in-1 frappe. I think I know why they gave this for free- old stock na. Pero in fernez, it was okay naman although may lasang luma na which I think were the cookies.

29/365: My vision board is up. It's not yet filled up because I don't know exactly what I want in life. I just want things in general like get rich, have plenty of money, get married, have a family, be a landlady of leisure. So anyway, just thought of putting up pictures of two of my favorite eye candies- JGL and Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley!!!).

30/365: Free lunch c/o AD. Steak and mashed potato! Food is yummy but service is crappy. First time I ate here was also with AD but we only had ice cream and service was crappy the first time, too. It would have been a lovely experience if it weren't for their service crew who, clearly, lack good customer service skills. This was at Mad Mark's Creamery in Glorietta, FYI.

31/365: Nephew slept on my bed for the night because AC had an overnight thingy in Tagaytay. He wetted the bed and I just changed my beddings the night before that. Oh well.

32/365: Ze nephew drew a stick version of me. Actually relieved that he didn't draw me using circles, haha. I'm really amazed that he can draw already. Parang kailan lang, he was a teeny tiny baby and now he's going to school already and drawing stick people. At very accurate ang depiction niya ng hairstyle ko ha.

33/365: Feeling crappy because I feel so bloated and big and heavy. So what better way to make one feel better than to indulge in junk food! SELF-DISCIPLINE FAIL. But it tastes soooo good. So after feeling happy for a moment, I was feeling crappy again for giving in.

Napapa-tsk-tsk na lang ako sa sarili ko kasi laging highlight ng araw ko ay pagkain. Actually, it is a conscious effort to not make food my photo of the day for this project.

4/52: Circulate daw eh

I think mali bilang ko sa weeks. I feel this week pa lang ang 4th week at etong ginagawan ko ng week in review ay 3rd week. Pero kiber.

(1) Day 20/365: Business + Pleasure. Dinner with a friend after running some business-related errands. I really should start hauling my ass off and make it earn bazillions of money already this early because I like doing this, this meaning lunching or having dinner with friends whenever, wherever. Landlady of leisure nga, diba?
(2) Day 21/365: Work it. Worked on labels the whole day. Just got myself a new pair of non-stick scissors which are okay but the teflon wears off quickly.
(3) Day 22/365: Kung walang bayad, e 'delivery! Har dee har har. Delivery day with V. Toasted siopao and slurpee after makakubra, haha!
(4) Day 23/365: Iz my favorite building. Wasn't supposed to be in Makati until Friday pero dahil ang galing kong mag-schedule, napapunta ako ng Makati (and not to mention, napagastos).
(5) Day 24/365: Picture-picture! As my sister's official photographer, went to one of her clients wedding preps para kodakan ang mga works of art niya. I also like taking photos naman plus free lunch and movie (Bride for Rent) c/o AD.
(6) Day 25/365: Wicked! Watched the play with AC at the CCP. As usual, we were late but in fair, not as late as we were when we watched Phantom. Loved it.
(7) Day 26/365: Centerpiece. Cousin's birthday. Food galore. But still, nothing beats my daddy's anemic dinuguan. Ika nga ni Coco Martin, "Yammy!
introducing...
Daddy's anemic dinuguan ☺

3/52 of 2014: Neverending decluttering

Astrologyzone said January's the best for me to CIRCULATE! As to how, I have no idea. So circulate, I did the best way I know how which is to gallivant around the mall while waiting for AD to get off work then make my delivery, hang out in coffee shops and read while waiting for AD get off work then make my delivery and yup, that's pretty much it.

(1) Day 13/365: Shoo fly! Don't bother me. Lunch at Yabu with AD. Akala ko naumay nako. Apparently, not.
(2) Day 14/365: They're on sale (and yes my waistline is HUGE).
(3) Day 15/365: Can you guess my favorite color? I thought it's mint but after browsing several magazines, I found out it's pistachio.
(4) Day 16/365: Anting-anting. 2014 is supposedly a challenging year for Dogs. I rarely believe horoscopes, be it Western or Chinese... I only do when they're in my favor. Ho ho! But, citrine is supposed to increase my wealth and travel luck. No harm in trying, non?
(5) Day 17/365: Updated. Finally got to update my FB and website.
(6) Day 18/365: Walking, talking and breathing citronella stick (or ball). Concocted 11 gallons of citronella spray. Sumakit ang arms ko kaka-shake ng 6-gallon containers.
(7) Day 19/365: Snack-snack din pag may time. Can't bloody believe that I just used that fugly expression. Anyway, just think it's befitting of the situation- after 2 hours of doing my own gel manicure & pedicure, I helped myself to a slice of raisin bread. Wala lang.
So there, another evidence that my life couldn't get any more boring. But you know, I like my life. Of course sometimes I wish mas eventful ang buhay ko kaysa sa nanay ko, haha!

2/52 of 2014: More lakwatsa

It's so cold here in Manila and I'm loving it ♥ How I wish we could have this weather all year round. What I love about it is that it's cool yet it's not wet as what happens during the rainy season. Actually, mainit pa rin nga kahit tag-ulan. We could do without electric fans and airconditioning and hopefully this means lower electricity bill. This is one effect of global warming that I like.

I've been busy the past week and due to time management issues, I only get to post this now. Gusto ko sana I get to post this weekly chuva every Monday since mas fresh pa sa memory but more important matters needed to be addressed.

(1) Day 6/365: View of the Ortigas skyline from the CR of The Medical City. Took daddy to his psychiatric appointment. He's getting better already. Huzzah!
(2) Day 7/365: Delivery + errands + leisure day. Found these Cokes in SM Hypermart in Makati. Both flavors are not to my liking and are better left unopened and un-drunk and belong to my Coke collection.
(3) Day 8/365: New series alert- My Love from Another Star. Haven't seen anything from Jeon Ji-hyun for ages and I missed her acting. Though I think she had something done to her already-pretty-then fez. Tsk.
(4) Day 9/365: Paperwork. Which reminds me I am not done with it yet.
(5) Day 10/365: Enrolled my nephews in Colfinancial- better to start them early. Swerte ng mga bugoy may funding from Lolo and Lola. Yabu with V for dinner.
(6) Day 11/365: Get-together with friends. Lunch at Kettle. Overpriced, imho. Tried it already and not going back. Enjoyed catching up with my friends though. Hope we could do this more frequently and not just on an annual basis.                           (7) Day 12/365: And because I am on a roll, watched another K-drama, The Heirs, the entire day. Lee Min-ho is
I really really need to learn how to manage my time wisely.

Week 1 of 2014: Lakwatsa

Still haven't acclimatized myself to the New Year. My daddy just went back to the province yesterday and during his entire stay here at home, we've been entertaining daddy, pasyal engrande with mommy, my sisters and the grandkids. Daddy still isn't 100% back to his old self but he is making good and quick progress, even his psychiatrist says so. We just hope and pray that he gets better soon. I am not used to seeing him very quiet and weak.

Also, I will attempt to do Project 365 this 2014. I have a new phone (which I got for free, thanks to Smart) which is app-friendly unlike my old HTC phone (which I loved but during the last few weeks of 2013 has been conking out on me and there's I have no other choice but to let it go). It's a Samsung phone, the less flashy ones from its Galaxy series but I am not really into phones and this phone is enough for my call, text, camera and Instagram needs. Will not shell out additional moolah for a flashier Galaxy S4 or for a Sony Xperia Z1 (although I was originally lusting for its 20MP camera). I could have opted for an iPhone 4s but alas, I am not fond of Apple or Mac products and I do not understand bakit ang die-hard ng mga tao over it.
So going back...

Here are the first five images of 2014:

Día 1/365: Prepping my nails for the New Year!
Tried if the gel nail top coat AB sent over would work with regular polishes. At first I thought it did but after a closer look (and feel), found out that it was a FAIL. Well, my manicure is still intact after seven days but it's not chip-free. Akala ko naka-jackpot nako.

Día 2/365: This is when I actually decided to do Project 365 for 2014
Because we were busy busy busy for the last few days of 2013 (prepared for the nail spa's Christmas party on the 30th and prepared for an impromptu family get-together the morning of 31st and media noche of New Year's), we weren't able to get some cleaning done. So ayan, mega-cluttered pa rin ang kwarto namin and working space ko.

Día 3/365: Happiness is two kinds of ice cream
Or an eat-all-you-can buffet! Har dee har har. AC and AD treated daddy, mommy, Nonoy and me to a pig-out session in Tong Yang. Hindi ako sulit sa mga eat-all-you-can dahil kahit hindi man halata, I do not eat that much. Frequent lang, hoho! But anyway, loved the ihaw-ihaw.

Día 4/365: Unfaithful
I've been collecting stickers for the Starbucks planner for years now and I think I have four or five of their planners but this year, pass muna ako because I find their planners very bulky plus their coupons have gotten suckier every year. AD's collecting stickers from CBTL and she promised me the planner she'd get from completing the stickers and she's only six stickers short so we treated mommy & daddy to a coffee merienda ☺ Mommy didn't order anything so I'm still a sticker short. Then Monday morning, my cousin said he'd just give me his CBTL planner. Bakit ngayon ka lang...

Día 5/365: Tubig at asin
Went to Don Bosco Mandaluyong for a seminar on health using just water and salt. We were there around 12:30. Seminar started 1:30 and ended 3:30pm. After that, we just waited for our turn to get enzymes. We finished around 7:30pm. Career. But it's worth a shot and there's no harm in trying.

So there, the first week of 2014. Mas eventful than the usual and I hope my 2014 will be more exciting and eventful and more amazing than 2013.

week 33: the lost week pt. 2

Super tamad to write about last week so here's a brief recap na lang: Daddy arrived from the province. Was not in the best of moods the entire week and looks like humahang-over ang crappiness. Our maid is sick for one week already- ONE WEEK! I brought her to the doctor where she had her urinalysis and blood test et voila! her tests results were normal. In other words, wala siyang sakit. Ay meron pala, sakit sa utak. And for crying out loud, she even dragged this sickness up to this very moment. Ano ba ang sakit ng ulo na hindi nagagamot ng Ponstan 500mg??? Nung una masakit ulo niya, kinabukasan puson, likod the next. Sabi ko paano hindi sasakit likod mo nakahiga ka buong araw!!! Tapos the day after nun, pwet naman daw. WTF? Hindi ata sakit sa ulo meron siya. Sakit sa utak. Bow.

week 32: hoy, i have other things to do!

Monday
Finished my 10th book for the year. Waited for my kinakapatid who was supposed to come to the house because we will do her eyebrows and lashes but alas, she canceled AGAIN and what's worse was she didn't even inform me. Manners naman.

Tuesday
Divi and Intramuros Day with A, C and friend. Details here.

Wednesday
This friend of mine who wasn't able to make it last Monday... well, she texted me morning and asked if she could go today, Wednesday. Since I just have the bank errand to do in the morning and nothing planned in the afternoon, I said yes. We set the time- 4pm. Finished my errands around lunchtime and was just waiting for her to come. I forgot my phone in the other room and turned out she was calling my phone to ask where she'll proceed. Umm... malamang sa bahay namin no. She sent me the message around 3:40 pm and I replied to her message 20 minutes later. Kamusta naman at ang reply sakin ay "Ay, akala ko busy ka kaya nagpa-annual medical check up na lang ako." ARGH. I was super infuriated. As in. We already set a time and she knows where to go so I don't know why she had to ask pa and I definitely would not say Yes, I'm available when I am not. Ano yun, i-cle-clear ko schedule ko just for her? May usapan na kasi eh.

Thursday
Delivery day!
My usual sked- Makati before lunch. But first, a stop at my suking label printer. Super hot-off-the-grill and labels ko. FX ride going to Glorietta. Lunch with AD at Buddy's Pancit Lucban. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I was sitting in a booth, cutting my labels when the waitress approached me and asked if I have an order already. I was thinking maybe she thought I was just sitting there so I told her my companion was in line already. Turned out somebody else was occupying that seat na daw. But there was no RESERVED sign on the table. Nothing to make one assume the seat's reserved. So practically, she just kicked us off the booth. She tried to appease us by telling us that she'll help us find a table but she wasn't. My sister and I were looking for seats on our own and I can see that waitress wasn't even looking. We were hovering over this old couple's table when that waitress went near the table and told us, "Patapos na po sila." OBVIOUS BA? BTW FYI, KAMI NAGHANAP NG TABLE HINDI IKAW. Pucha, andami namang bwiset sa mundo. I don't even know if their pansit is good because I have pre-judged it already. Kawawa namang pansit nadamay pa. So there, reason why I won't eat at Buddy's ever again.

Free movie while waiting for AD- Ang Babae sa Septic Tank. Enjoyed the movie but towards the latter part already. I kept on waiting kasi for the comedy part eh the first part was medyo serious. Finished the movie just in time for AD to get off work. ChaTime on our way to delivery.

Gusto mo bang mainis uli?

So this friend of mine who keeps on canceling without informing the other party (ME!), well, she texted me again. This was on our way home already and we were already in Libis when she asked if I'm free and if she can come that afternoon/night. I told her I'm still out but I'll be home in 15-20 minutes. She said Ok lang since her car's coding and they can leave wherever they are 7pm pa. Her mom (my ninang) was going to attend this despedida dinner for our neighbor who's already based in Australia. I was in my sister's house just in the next street so I texted her to just text me when she's in the village already so I can walk home. I texted her twice just to make sure because Smart's signal in my sister's house is quite problematic. I didn't receive a text. No a peep. When I got home I asked the people if someone came looking for me, wala naman daw. So obviously nang-injan (?) na naman siya.

Nainis ka ba? Sige na mainis ka! Damayan mo ako!

Friday
Continuation of yesternight... Little Miss Injan texted me early morning saying sorry that she wasn't able to go to the house because she wasn't able to get out of the dinner anymore and that she just realized that she wasn't able to send the text message she meant to send me. WHAT A FRICKIN' LAME EXCUSE. I didn't reply. I was online in Facebook when a message window popped out. It was from her, saying "lam mo ba me na discover aq new website na dami chismax. i think ull like it." Shit. I was super tempted to reply. I didn't. Attagirl. I hope she got the message.

Saturday
Meeting 5/10. I was late for 45 minutes. Had hot choco for descanso. Left IC right away to go to Megamall to meet with AD with whom I will hitch a ride going to Charlee's birthday party. I didn't have lunch thinking that we were going to a party. Bad idea. I should've spent those 3 and a half hours walking around the mall in a coffee shop or a restaurant instead. Alam ko naman na na everytime I skip a meal, I get a super mega over debilitating headache. So ayun I went to a kiddie party not feeling well. There was one instance on our way home that I wanted to throw up. Fortunately for me, I was able to sleep in the car so it wasn't very torturous.

Sunday
Instead of a lunch-out, AC, Mommy and I left early for Quezon Province. Saling-pusa lang naman ako and although I wanted to just stay at home, I still went because it's a new experience for me, sayang naman if I let pass the chance to do something new. Hitched a ride with AC's friends. Two-hour ride to Tiaong, Quezon. We arrived there with lotsa people already. We just went around the area while AC and friends scoured the shelves for stuff they wanted to buy. I failed to mention earlier that we went to Ugu Bigyan's Pottery Garden, it was his birthday so all his stuff are 48% off and lunch is on him. Yummy lunch but got a little cranky because I had to wait forever in line for food but I can't really complain because it's free. Bought a wind chime for the shop.

THE BIRD FOUNTAIN!!! I WANT!!!  But it costs Php14,000 :(

Fish means prosperity!
Free coffee

Duty free shopping after. Got shampoo and make-up. Actually, got mommy to buy mook up for me- L'oreal Base Magique and Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner. Ako na ang maarte :P Sorry naman at kelangan tapalan burahin ang mukha.

week 31: at least i'm getting some work done

Monday
I got the internet all to myself YAY! but I had to leave after lunch to do my August inventory. It took longer than I expected because I also worked on some orders. But who cares when I had a scrumptious scrumptious dinner afterwards ☺

Tuesday
Called off work because it was raining cats and dogs and the Marikina river was past its critical level and after Ondoy, people tend to get paranoid. But after several minutes after I texted my techs that we don't have work, the rain stopped. Boo! So I just bummed around the entire day, playing with my nephews.

Wednesday
I've gotten used to not having work on Monday, so when I woke up today I thought it was only Tuesday since we didn't have work yesterday. I sent my customer a text that I'd be making my delivery on Wednesday or Thursday and it is already Wednesday! She didn't reply. Naguluhan siguro. Anyway, was busy planning menu for the anniversary dinner. Business this year hasn't been that good so I wasn't really in a mood to celebrate but yea we're already five years in the biz and of course we should be thankful that we lasted this long and we are still alive and kicking and in it for 5 or 10, 50 even, years to come. Which reminds me that I still offer a Thanksgiving mass for this milestone in my life.

Dinner consisted of pansit bihon (for longer life daw), chicken wings, lumpia and chocolate cake. Very, very predictable. This has been my menu for the past five years, more or less. I was thinking of cooking menudo but opted not to for lack of time. I'm not sure if they could tell that I wasn't too excited to celebrate.

Thursday
Delivery day! Same old routine- Glorietta to have lunch with AD then I'm off to gallivant all by myself. I arrived late which got me a scolding~ malay ko ba na traffic sa C5? Before it would only take me 30 mins from my house to the mall, without traffic, so I was expecting the same but apparently there's a road construction going on. Lunch with AD at Pizza Hut. Figured out it was too late for a movie- I can't get out of it just in time for AD's off. Just went to National Book Store and hoped to find another Sarah Dessen book on sale. After scouring the shelves, no Sarah Dessen book but got myself Marisa de los Santos' Belong to Me instead. Coffee at Starbucks while reading Along for the Ride. Delivery. Then Happy Lemon c/o AD. Realized that I've reached my saturation point for coffee with rock salt and cheese.

Friday
I've been a good girl and squeezed in my "hectic" schedule a day at the shop for some Rex Manning time. Got my maniped while reading and listening to the radio at the same time. Gino & Fran's last day (weekday) on board together. I dunno why they had to break the tandem apart when it's working like magic. Had chicken isaw nom nom nom~ And I swear mukha siyang bouncer these days eeew. I therefore christen you Enchong. Enchong Go.

Saturday
Meeting 4/10. Enjoyed class. Honestly, mas marami ang chika time but who cares haha! But seriously, I should practice more and take this Spanish thing seriously because I'm shelling out moolah for this. I must do something with this skill. I want to teach but I reckon I'm not that confident. Took a bus going to Greenhills for my date with the girls- A and C (and her friend, S). It has been awhile since I took a G Liner bus because it was the most optimal method to reach me destination.

Greenhills. Got a pair of turquoise earrings- an item to cross out my wishlist. Bumped into IR and we had some hurried (but fun as well) catching up. Went to the Promenade to meet A. Lunch at Bon Chon then Captain America afterwards. Movie finished just in time for our dinner with C and friends. Dinner at Grilla, coffee at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf after. Wasn't talking that much because I reckon I've lost my social skills and we were around people I don't know that much and I tend to clam up in such situations. Happy Lemon. Went to A's house-chika time with A and sister until 3am.

Sunday
And mommy woke me up verrry early in the morning :( No lunch out na naman so stayed at home the whole day, stuck with Little Miss Wet Blanket. Haha. Well, sometimes she's okay but I find myself rolling my eyes often when I'm with her. I feel guilty actually...

It was a rainy week. I hate rainy days. I hate it because rainy days mean lower sales and it somehow affects my mood and this time, the laundry smells baaaad! We usually don't use Downy but this time I guess we have to. I pray for sunshine tomorrow since it's Binondo Day with A and C and her friend.

week 30: mixing pleasure with business or is it the other way around?

MONDAY
Lazy, lazy day for moi. Because I had the internet all to myself, just youtube-d and tumbr-d the living daylights out of me.

TUESDAY
I thought I could still go to the shop for some Rex Manning time after I make supplies and do my bottle inventory but I had to clean my storage area because my activated carbon powder was all over my stuff. Thought I should clean it then since I was already there and in the momentum.

WEDNESDAY
Lunch with Y in Makati. I would have preferred spending our last day-out longer but since she was busy with her last minute preparations before she leaves for Hungary and on her free days I had errands to do, we had to make do with a three-hour lunch on a workday. We had lunch (more like a feast) at Cyma, Roka Salata and Pork Tenderloin nom nom nom~ Time was limited but I had so much fun with our kwentuhan. We would have to schedule for a longer session on January, Y. Take care! Toodles!

I still had my free movie pass c/o AD so I decided to spend my remaining time watching the last installment of the Harry Potter movies. Again, I wasn't able to concentrate much on the movie because I was also thinking about the shop since customers were texting me every now and then and I had to coordinate. But I'd rather not be able to concentrate on a movie than not have customers text me. I was actually thinking on not watching movies on weekdays but then again when? Or maybe I can just get a prepaid phone for my asst? Yes naman, assistant. Akala nila sila lang may assistant? Now I can say, please contact my assistant. Astig. Sorry naman on my way to being BIGTIME. P.S. Walang basagan ng trip.

AD accompanied me to my supplier and I made just on time, a minute later I would have not been able to buy my supplies.

THURSDAY
Was in Makati again. I had to go to my supplier again because a customer wanted samples for my body oil and I didn't have it on hand. Oh well, ganun talaga. I was able to hitch a ride with AD. Lunch at McDo and a little gallivanting around handy, dandy SM. We need new silverware and dishware badly. AD had to go to work so I was left to gallivant around. Bought my Brow Buddy ♥☺♥ Killed time in National Book Store and Auntie Anne's. Took a taxi to my supplier where AD fetched me. ChaTime in Bo. Kapitolyo- takeout.

FRIDAY
Still another trip to another supplier. I called my order in advance so I wouldn't have to wait long for my order but I placed another order which they would get from the other warehouse so ganun pa rin, I had to wait pa rin. Met with mommy at SM Sta. Mesa- lunch at Greenwich c/o mommy. I had Quickly for dessert. Played the waiting game- waited for mommy and Tita D do their stuff. Then we transferred to Pizza Hut for merienda. Non-stop eating.

SATURDAY
Meeting 3/10. I really have to read El Fili from the top because I already forgot what the story's about and I can't seem to get on momentum of the novel. And I also need to do some advance reading before I go to class.

Saturday lunch with the family at Max's Sta. Lucia. I am a creature of habit so I had half spring chicken AGAIN. Actually, we all had half spring chicken. If before their half spring could occupy most of the plate, now it only occupies half of it. Max's would always be our last-minute no-fail go-to eating place.

SUNDAY
Home. Cityville. Started with Along for the Ride. Mass. Dinner at AD's- soooooper yummy avocado salad with arugula, cucumber and whathaveyous.

Thank You, Lord for such a wonderful week and for a wonderful family, friends and life.

week 29: the week i got a new sharpie

MONDAY
Mommy, daddy, AD and hubby, V and I went to Cardinal Santos for mommy and daddy's eye check up. What I thought would be a quick consultation with the doctor took four hours. Good thing I brought my book with me; I had something to keep me busy. Mommy has macular degeneration daw- so I guess her kalabasas and carrots didn't do their thing. V has glaucoma on her left eye. Thank God for 20/20 vision! I will never take it for granted evaaaarrr! We had lunch in the hospital's canteen- kung saan ginto ang ulam. A viand's serving costs P95. In fairness, masarap naman siya at enough for one meal.

After Cardinal Santos, went to PSE in Makati to have our flu vaccines. I was expecting it to hurt but it didn't- yay!

Went home then went to the coolest mall, Sta Lucia, with J1 and J2. We had merienda at Lotsa Pizza which was cheap but yummy and supposedly after we have merienda, the kids are going home and mommy, daddy and I were going to watch movies. Them - Temptation Island. I - Transformers. Pero late na daw so wis na :( Hay Transformers, kailan ba kita mapapanuod?

TUESDAY
I've been a good girl and went to the shop today although I stayed in the mezzanine or outside most of the time. But still I was there. I wasn't able to do my sermon because we had customers from 2pm until closing time. Oh goody! But I sweat there's this one employee I have I oh so want to fire already.

Anyway, my childhood friend and playmate M came to the shop to demo her galvanic chuva. In fairness, effective siya but it's too pricey. And they say the galvanic wand only helps skin to absorb the serum better so even if it's not of the brand she's promoting, it will still do the work. After our session, we ordered pizza from this new pizza place in our village- di ko masyado type :( I ordered cheese & garlic and I'm not so sure about this but isn't there supposed to be tomato sauce underneath all those cheese and garlic? And the crust isn't crunchy. I want crunchy crusts. Expensive pa! I hope they do something about it.

WEDNESDAY
Early morning trip to the bank then tried to open a new account in a new bank but my requirements weren't complete so didn't push through with it- frickin' 1x1 picture. So I just went to the mall and watched Transformers 3.

THURSDAY
Stayed at home and did research on the computer and blogged.

FRIDAY
Rex Manning time! Must make my presence felt hohoho! At least I've been going there more frequently than before and I stay longer hours. Props to me ☺ AD and I went walking in the village- better than nothing, ya?

SATURDAY
Didn't go to Spanish class because I had to go all the way to Alabang to pay for my booth. Actually, I should've asked if I can deposit payment so I wouldn't have to go all the way there and spend P220 on toll. Puede pala magbayad sa bangko. Argh. I didn't tell my sister or else she would've scolded me haha. Went back to the metro and parked the car in Gateway, took the train going to Recto. AD and I went to Divi to look for trinkets and other whathaveyous we could sell in the bazaar, additional inventory ba. Super daming intsik at mukhang mga authentic kasi hindi marunong managalog. Boo. Bought a digital weighing scale for my ingredients. Weeheehee!

SUNDAY
Lunch at Megamall with the extended family but sans daddy. A cousin will be going back to the US tomorrow so had a little despedida lunch for her. Kare-kare, crispy pata for lunch. MSG- galore. Had dessert in Amici- strawberry banana ice cream cake! We saw Delamar in Amici- starstruck moment! A little side trip in St. Francis Square for me DVD fix. I wanted to go there because I wanted to get a copy of the Ancient Aliens series but I forgot so I ended up buying 7 new movie titles.

week 28: humahangover

From vacation, that is. Hay excuses. I've been suffering from this hangover for five years now.

MONDAY
My cousin's wedding. Went to SM Bacolod to buy mommy's accessories and to have lunch. Had our maniped and my hair "managed." That part of my dress which is directly under my kili-kili was too high and was scraping my pits big time- as in I can't move my arms too much. My kili-kili were in pain! Though it was a good night- with lechon that delicious ;)

TUESDAY
Went around the city scouring for the best but not too expensive pasalubong- must have went to four pasalubong shops for this. Visited my uncle's grave and had lunch then finally had macaroons at Felicia's. Flight back to Manila which was, fortunately, turbulence-free. Maja Salvador was in the same flight we took and I didn't see her!!! Boo. Not that I am a fan. Chismosa lang talaga ako.

WEDNESDAY
Back to regular programming- PRETEND TO GO TO SHOP BUT BEG OFF AT THE LAST MINUTE BECAUSE EITHER I STUMBLED ON SOMETHING GOOD TO WATCH ON TV OR MY SISTER ISN'T USING THE COMPUTER ERGO I CAN PLAY CITYVILLE and BLOG. Boo. My self-discipline and EQ is slowly slipping down...

THURSDAY
Went to the shop then did some work then went home.

FRIDAY
Caught up with my latest Kdrama fix- Hotelier. Then went to my printer to pick up my flyers which were downright plain and fugly because I forgot to say what color of paper I want them printed on. Then spent the rest of the day cutting the flyers with my cutting contraption.

SATURDAY
We have class again! Whoopeedoo! :) Love it. Finally, I get to have my "event" on Saturdays again. Well, I already consider this my event because I'm almost always holed up in this little village of ours. LRT rides! Lunch con chismisan with las amigas! Los descansos! I super missed this during the break. The only thing I didn't like about it- gastos. I had to pay for my tuition. &^$#$%$%$% growing up $%@%$%$%##$#.

Went home right away because we're having lunch at home together- daddy cooked dinguan, my favorite ulam in whole wide world!

SUNDAY
Had to pick up our bigas (c/o Juno) from Juno's kuya in UST so we went to a restaurant around the area. We had lunch at Muy Hong which was not muy delicious. It was okay. Second time to eat here, actually. Team Wai Ying still. Dessert afterwards at Lia's Cakes. We had Avocado Cake, Chocolate Decadence, Ube Cheesecake and Strawberries and Cream Cake (not so sure about the last one). Loved Chocolate Decadence w/ the strawberry one. I love desserts!

week 27: a blur

I was not able to take down notes on my planner and I can remember only a handful of what happened last week like when we went to the airport to bring the meds to my cousin, watched movie on a workday during work hours, delivered an order, claimed my free tall mocha frap, went to Facial Care Center for a sesh (which, by the way, has a sucky manager and I don't even know if she's the manager- that woman who had a fugly nose job. Her. What a bitch. And a hard sell, might I add), then stopped by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Ortigas to make usi at Chico & Del's 15th anniversary episode (the place was packed so ended up eating at McDo instead), juxtaposed and went home with 3 finds, had yummy yummy inihaw na baboy for lunch c.o daddy, went to Bacolod for my cousin's wedding.

Yun lang pow.

week 26: halfway into the year

Oh yes we're already half done with 2011 which means we're just 173 days until Christmas. Oh joy! I love love love the Christmas season ☺

MONDAY
A few errands before I meet with my friend A in Megamall. A trip to my bank and then to my sister's bank afterwards. AC asked me to get something from her bank and approach our customer MC who works there about her transaction. Before I leave MC told me, "busy na busy ah." I felt guilty inside because after that, I'll be going on my guilt-free lakwatsa with A.

I was in Megamall at 11am and spent an hour just strolling in the mall, waiting for A. I was doing something on my phone when this foreigner approached me. I was stupefied. I thought he was one of those weirdos who would what time is it etc etc etc. Well, turns out he was trying to sell me something. After several demos and offers, gullible me succumbed and bought a facial scrub. I want to hit myself in the head. I think I actually hit myself in the head.

A and I finally met. We had lunch at Bon Chon. Bon Chon is overrated. It's yumminess is not commensurate on how much people rave about it. Plus, it's expensive. P165 for three pieces of chicken drumstick? C arrived. After lunch, had coffee at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf- a deviation from my usual. Kwento overload, updates on life, careers, TV shows, movies and love (or the lack thereof). C had to leave early. I went with A to Greenhills to fetch her sisters and mom. We went to Eastwood after that. Happy Lemon and chicken nuggets! Saw my sister there. Made my other sister come, too.

I'm one very happy and contented bunny ☺

TUESDAY
Rex Manning today. I'm so proud of me ☺ After V had her massage, we had isaw at our favorite bbq turo-turo. Yun lang. Parang sayang araw, no?

WEDNESDAY
Delivery day! Went to AD's office and we had lunch together. Lunch at Shakey's. Bunch of Lunch costs P138 now. When I was in college it only cost P92. I feel old. Free movie ♥ watched Green Lantern while waiting for AD to get off work.

THURSDAY
Inventory day- made supplies for July- which took almost the entire day. I was too tired and amoy pawis to go to the shop. V was out so I had a chance to use the internet. Watched Waiting for Forever. Happy Lemon pasalubong.

FRIDAY
Still not done with inventory management. Labeled the stuff, etc etc. AC called and asked if I want to go to the Japanese film fest at Shangri-la Mall. Of course I wouldn't pass up any chance to lakwatsa =) bwahahaha! Asked AD if she wanted to also watch- yes. I was spared of commuting because AD would still be coming home because her hubby would be coming along with us. As it was still early, had the chance to watch Something Borrowed.

Traffic going to Shangri-la. Must have been the pack going to the malls to watch Transformers 3. Arrived at Shang just in time for the movie. The film we saw was Departures- very nice Japanese movie, I liked it. Dinner at Shakey's afterwards. Shakey's along Julia Vargas has TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service. Waiters and waitresses were in super mega dabog mode.

SATURDAY
Divi day with AD, AC and Ate Jo.

I was already borlogs last night so I forgot to set my alarm. AD called me at around 7am and told me they're going to fetch me already. Actually, it was her call that woke me up. Imagine that. Kakagising mo lang, wala ka pa masyado sa iyong ulirat tapos sabihin sayo Papunta na kami diyan. Ngayon na. SUPER MEGA OVER ALIGAGA MODE  na ako. Sabi ko, "10 MINUTES." I don't if it really just took me ten minutes to finish taking a bath and all the other rituals basta alam ko masakit na ulo ko maaga pa lang.

Divisoriaaaa- where business and pleasure meet. Although not actually the pleasure we have in mind. Let's just say that I get excited over little trinkets and thingamabobs that they sell there. May kwenta man o wala. Fortunately through the years, I have learned how to control myself and buy only the stuff I need. The only stuff I bought for myself are 6 boxes of Nerds, sampaloc and a green cellphone case. And oh, I also bought cracking nail polish ☺ that's quasi for me pero mas sa shop siya.

Left Divi at 7pm. Had dinner at AD's house- chicken bbq c.o BIL.

Once again, I'm one happy and contented bunny.

SUNDAY
Early morning grocery shopping to buy ingredients for today's lunch. Today's sponsor I am. Menu consists of inihaw na baboy, broccoli and inihaw na talong, and Coffee Crumble ice cream. Watched chismis after lunch. It's been a long time since I last watched these showbiz chismis shows on TV.

OMG. The highlights of my day are FOOD. Kailangan ko na atang maghinay-hinay sa pagkain. Although I am not getting heavier when it comes to the scale, I feel heavier when it comes to movement, et al. I tire and get out of breath more easily. Everything's flabbier these days. Even my arms who used to be my pride and glory... well, not really, it's just people were amazed at how small my arms were considering that I am fat. But now the arms are also fat. Buhok na lang ang payat sa akin. Tse. Must. Take. Diet. Seriously. Tapos maya-maya, "Ano'ng diet?"

week 25: rainy days and mondays can be lovely

MONDAY
Meet-up/reunion with old friend, K. She almost didn't recognize me. I suggested maybe it was because I gained weight but she said she already knew I gained weight. It was the hair. My hair's all curly now. Not wavy like it was before. Curly na siya ngayon. Natural curls. Hindi ko alam kung saan sila nanggaling.

Anyway, catch up over lunch at Almon Marina. There are some things I want to probe into but I restrained myself to do so because I might come across as too nosy. Like, she is already of age and I supposed his boyfriend is already of age, why the need to hide? Hmm... Diba? Oh well. None of my business. After lunch, we just strolled in the mall talking about just any topic. I love friendships like this one, like most of my relationship with friends- no need for frequent keeping in touch; after months, years even, of not seeing nor talking to each other, we just pick up where we left off. Dessert at DQ, courtesy of K. She accompanied me to where I took my FX ride home.

Got home just in time for church- we were today's family offerer. It's sad that there are only three of us. Before there would be seven of us there. There's barely a quorum.

TUESDAY
Lie To Me marathon. The only productive thing I did for the day was work on an order.

WEDNESDAY
Lie To Me marathon. AGAIN. Although I live for Kdramas such as this one, this is also the bane of my quest for my empire. Really good dramas paralyze you. Until I finish watching, I am a good-for-nothing blob constantly clicking on "next episode." Finally finished backlogged episodes. Just waiting for the final two episodes ☺

THURSDAY
Delivery to make today. Fortunately, took half the day off work so I was able to hitch a ride with her and make my delivery which is on the way to her work. Unfortunately, the person to whom I was making the delivery was sick at home; ergo, I wasn't able to deliver the goods yet. So I just went with her to her office which is located above a mall. Wee!

After a few purchases at the book store and a little window shopping, AD told me to buy ready-to-eat food from the grocery since it has been raining incessantly. We wanted to be prepared should this day's bad weather translate to another Ondoy event. Even if it didn't flood as much (thank God!), it was better that we were prepared with our canned goods.

FRIDAY
Still hasn't stopped raining. Closed shop for the day because of really bad weather- aside from the probability that sales would be likely low, I'm for the safety of the employees who live in Floodway. Stayed in bed and read my new book,  Paper Cuts.

In the afternoon, went to AD's house and celebrated Ate Jo's and Rona's birthday. Pansit, fried chicken and Hungry Pac chocolate cake ☺

SATURDAY
Weather was slightly better. No more rains but we were still closed because the employees can't come to work. I'm no employer from hell who will insist that they come to work come hell or high water (pun intended). So just stayed in bed and finished reading Paper Cuts and started on Something Borrowed. Literally can't get myself to put it down. I stayed up until 4am reading.

SUNDAY
Lunch at AD's. Had yummy yummy lechon and vegetables for lunch. Made mommy buy us coffee hehe.

week 24: the lost week

Tuesday, June 14, 2011

week 23: good times =)

Business-wise, it's actually a bit slow. But aside from that, everything's all G☺☺D.

MONDAY
My second favorite day of the week! Though I didn't get to laze around all day because there were some errands I had to do. Hitched a ride with the school bus so I could go to the nail polish shop. They were on sale! Yay! Some bottles I got pretty cheap.

Megamall afterwards to pay for AB's payables and also to buy new magazines for the shop. Clients are always asking for new magazines and now that AB, our magazine supplier, is currently not here in the PI, I had to excruciatingly shell out for magazines. Had lunch at Wham! Burgers- Hungry Hungarian ♥♥♥ Well, it's not as fun eating alone but I've learned to live with it. Drama. Haha.

TUESDAY
Rex Manning today. Almost the entire day. It was a little slow and I decided to go to my sister's house and made her treat me to bbq from our suki bbq ihaw-ihaw. Yummy! No-fail go-to whenever I'm having these bbq cravings.

WEDNESDAY
Ay eto na- the day I lined up for eight frickin' hours for ugly shoes. That's eight whole hours standing up. With no food. Well, AD and I shared a double cheeseburger and 6-pc nuggets for lunch, while standing in line on muddy grounds, under the pouring rain. Never again. But the good thing about this day was the Shakey's dinner we had. Instead of eating out, AD had pizza and chicken delivered to their house and ate everything while watching Philippine's Biggest Loser. I felt guilty gobbling everything down while watching the doctor reprimand the contestants to watch their diet, haha.

THURSDAY
Missed Bones season finale because of the ugly shoes sale, but caught it on replay today. The show's awesome finale made my day and also waking up from a nice dream ;)

Trip to the bank to pay my taxes (that aren't working for me on the optimal level). Enrolled my account on internet banking and just when I finished changing my passwords, I logged in and can't remember my new password and got blocked off. Stupid.

FRIDAY
Passport renewal day! My passport is good until June 2012 but since we want to visit AB, I need to get the new, machine-readable ones. Thanks to my BIL (brother-in-law) who made circumventing the process possible. Hehe. But I am not proud of this. If time wasn't of the essence, I would have gone through every step such as setting for an appointment online.

After everything's set and after I had my fugly passport picture taken, it was time for lunch. McDo was packed so we opted to eat somewhere else. Sana Greenwich na lang but someone insisted on trying out this ihaw-ihaw place- Kainan Club, if I'm not mistaken. Ay super laos ang food. At gutom na gutom pa ako sa lagay na yun. As in I was in a frown the entire time I was eating my food. Not content with my tocilog, we ordered additional bbq because seriously, how can you f**k bbq up. But even their bbq sucked! Ay grabe super nabwiset ako. Masarap lang yung coke. Pero in fernez, service was good.

V and I planned to go to divi after passport renewal but decided to go with AD to Glorietta and use her complimentary movie passes. Tinamad na kami mag-divi :( Watched X-Men: First Class. I liked it. Even more than Wolverine. V and BIL went ahead and left me and AD. After we bought gift for my inaanak (omg, the term! makes me feel so old already) had dinner at Pizza Hut- AD's treat! :)

SATURDAY
Francesca's christening. It's my third time to be someone's ninang but this is the first time I was in the actual ceremony, I think. Ate Lisette and the kids came over. Reception was at Cabalen's- yummy eat-all-you-can food! But imho, lugi ako sa eat-all-you-can kasi hindi man halata, I don't really eat that much. Haha. Just had a little of everything- menudo, kare-kare, etc. Yummy! Went home and did a little catching up with Ate Lisette and the kids before I headed to my next lakwatsa...

Edsa Shang con mis compañeras de IC. Since we are on break from our courses, we haven't seen each other for two months now. It was Pam who organized the get together ☺ Pam, Joji and I were the early (pero sa totoo lang, late pa rin) birds. Had Tonnos Salata which was just salad but left me feeling full already but also mostly because I just came from an eat-all-you-can affair. Had a little bit of everyone's order cos I don't really feel like eating much. My favorite was Josette's order- the skewered pork tenderloin. Mis compañeras de IC are always good company.

After dinner, had coffee at Dome. When they said we were having coffee, I initially thought we were going to Starbucks. Sorry naman at yung ang default coffee place for me. But Dome's Flat White coffee's also yummy ♥

9pm. Everybody decided to call it a day (night?) ☺

SUNDAY
Mommy's turn to treat for today's Sunday Lunch. Take-out na lang ng tempura at Paluto in Libis and had lunch at home.

The new maids arrived! My "assistant" has arrived! Yay :) I hope she's a keeper so I can do other things such as plan how to become a landlady of leisure and a bazillionaire and have that movie marathon, too ;) But first, must train her well.

Dessert in Eastwood- V and H's treat. Siempre walang kamatayang Starbucks.

Sometimes I fail to see that I am indeed living a good life. I keep comparing myself to others, how they're living their lives, what they have that I don't... but then I stop and count my blessings and be reminded that life is good, MY LIFE IS GOOD.

week 22: Walang gamot sa tamaditis

Room alone for 5 days. The room's all mine and I did a little re-arranging tonight. I placed my side table right under my bookshelf and my bed between the side table and computer table. This is actually in preparation for the great earthquake Manila's due for. Sorry naman kung medyo praning. Better to be safe than sorry, aye?

MONDAY
What I love love love about Mondays is that I can do whatever I want and not feel any guilt. I can totally waste it on anything. V went with her hubby to the office so the internet's all mine. My internet and I have our quality time together after a long time. I missed you, dsl :x

So what happens when you have the internet all to yourself all day? Umm, actually, nothing much- played Cityville, watched 49 Days, read Ria Tanjuatco- Trillo's blog and Chuck catch-up. The entire day.

Looking back, parang I feel guilty pala. Hehe.

TUESDAY
-- mind went blank. totally can't remember anything from this day --

WEDNESDAY
Rex Manning today! The first three hours only. Went home around 6 because the family's going out for dinner to celebrate AC's birthday in advance. Dinner at Uncle Cheffy's and had mocha frap for dessert. Sometimes, I think getting mocha frap after lunch or dinner has become a force of habit. Sometimes, I really don't want mocha frap after eating, it's just that it has become almost automatic.

THURSDAY
I was going to go Rex Manning today but AD called and said to go with her to Ayala Triangle, bring J (and his mommy) so he could play in the park. Since it was impossible to play under the scorching heat of the sun, we hung out in Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. I had iced Caramel Macchiato, V had Ice-blended Mocha and we shared a slice of Guiltless Chocolate cake. We waited for two hours and V was already tired playing and running after J because he won't come with me. AD treated us to Bon Chon chicken wings after.

Stop over at Becky's Kitchen to buy cake for AC. Turns out she'll be home late. Nyek. So we didn't touch the cake since she hasn't come home yet and when she arrived, I brought it to her and her reaction was, "Cake na naman." Wow. Thank you ha. I really feel the sense of gratitude there. Oh well, iba-iba ang tao. While I wish someone would buy me cake on my birthday, others don't really care. The cake's almost finished and I believe she hasn't eaten a single piece of it yet. Pabor sa akin, actually :D

FRIDAY
Rex Manning today. Thought I could continue my 49 Days marathon on youtube in the shop but Sun's wifi has been excruciatingly slow and connection's intermittent so I went to AD's house instead to have merienda and to continue my marathon na din.

SATURDAY
Sick with tamaditis. Walang gamot yan. Malala na 'to. Tsk tsk...

SUNDAY
AD and I went to Christina's to interview a prospective "assistant." Basically, I need someone to do the cashiering in the shop and also to do other shop duties such as the laundry. Plus, I don't really trust my people. I sense some hocus pocus that's why I need to put someone there outside of their circle. I also need this assistant to help me when I'm working on orders. But this prospect of ours would rather be a yaya so kay V na lang siya. I will wait for my "yaya" galing sa probinsya. Haha.

Also, got a haircut already at Shunji Matsuo salon in Bo. Kapitolyo in Pasig. First time for me while it's already AD's second time there. AD said haircut is only P350, much cheaper than where I had my previous haircuts. I kind of expected a zen-ish, minimalist look for the salon but was a little surprised to find out it's Asian-inspired with all the Buddha images. I just wanted a trim but still keeping it layered, which the stylist did. I think I should've told him not too layered because it brings out my natural curls. After they cut my hair, they styled it (without additional charge). It's nice and I appreciate that they did that, though my only rant about it is that you won't see how your hair looks like after the cut. I got a haircut because I want to get rid of my curls. Wrong move ata kasi mas curly na siya ngayon. Boo.

Late lunch at David's Tea House in Q Plaza. In fairness, masarap ang lemon chicken nila- malapit-lapit na sa Wai Ying (which is my peg for lemon chicken and hakao). Service was speedy but it seemed as if the waiters were having a fit. Super mega ingay ng mga plato at upuan. It was annoying actually and waiters were dragging their feet. The food was okay but service was relatively bad. Never mind that they served the food pretty quick and they immediately give you what you ask for, but you get the feeling that you're not welcome with all that banging and dragging and crashing.

After we had lunch, went to SM Masinag because I want to go malling. I had Megamall in mind. Or Galleria. Basta big mall where there's much to see. But we haven't been to SM Masinag yet and they say it's bigger than SM Marikina naman daw so to SM Masinag we went. It's small. I'm actually anti small malls. Parang kahit saan na lang may SM. I want a mall to be my one-stop shop and that's the appeal of Megamall to me, no matter how crowded or masa they say it is. Anyone who says Megamall is too masa obviously hasn't been to Sta. Lucia. Haha.

Another week has passed and it's Tuesday again today. We're now in the sixth month of the year- only 6 months more and it's Christmas season all over again. So little time, so much to do.

week 21: i still haven't ran out of excuses

monday
i have a delivery tuesday so i spent almost the entire day putting my babies inside their pouches. i really take so much pride and joy in seeing my finished products... after a long process of manual labor and i see this
then i'm one very happy bunny. i did this while watching episodes of lie to me 2 and rio- multi-tasking is what i do best. when i have put each and every bottle inside the pouch, attached every tag and tied every ribbon, i went to work on my room- clean-up time! must have finished at 2am putting everything into place and to cap it all off, i changed my sheets. new sheets- one of life's simple pleasures.
tuesday
accompanied V and the kids to the pedia. they changed pedia- somewhere near and the doctor's much, much nicer. the kids are sick- J has instestinal flu and JJ throws up after every feeding. the pedia just gave them meds to take. savemore to buy meds and merienda.

waited for AD to come home and accompany me to my delivery at mcdonald's katipunan. delivered my babies to their owner. after a successful delivery, we made our way to starbucks and treated AD to green tea frap and i had my ol' favorite mocha frap with less whipped cream but with additional chocolate drizzle ;)

and oh, tonight's bones' episode was too much to handle, ya'll! i got too giddy over that final scene:
you know how booth and bones always have their celebratory drink after solving a case, right? the episode was about this man who kept three wives. bones asked how can a man love more than one to wit booth answered that no matter how many women a man loves, there's always one he loves the most and while we was saying this he was looking at bones while bones' attention was at cam. booth was staring at her. while he was saying that there's always one woman a man will love the most. staring. at bones. and when bones looked back, booth looked away
wednesday
lazy day. did nothing. was on the internet and found out about the break-up of patty laurel and atom. at affected talaga ako, haha. fans ako eh. hehe. you know what's funny- i got teary-eyed when i found out. oh well. does this mean available na uli si atom??? asa. haha.
thursday
woke up with a bad case of stomachache- had intestinal flu and threw up once. just laid on my bed the entire day and slept.
friday
went to the mall early to pay bills. bought lunch for ate jo and rona who always help me with my orders. i liked chooks to go when i first tasted it but now not anymore. by the way, it still needs sawsawan. mas winner pa rin ang lechon manok ni mr. see.

worked on june's inventory. mondays are sacred to me because they're the day i can do anything i want- slack off bigtime- and not feel guilty, so as much as possible i don't do anything shop-related. so worked on the shop's supplies today and finished most of it. i still have to go back there on monday but at least, minimal work only.
saturday
i was a good girl and went to the shop in the morning. i thought daddy cooked dinuguan for lunch so i went home for lunch but there was no dinuguan. daddy said we'll be eating out instead. we went to sle and had lunch at trusty ol' max's. i had half spring chicken chicklet. chicken ♥, y'all!

i thought we would make it home early so i would still have time to go online and tend to my city but alas! we made it home at 5:30 in the afternoon and i had to meet someone in eastwood at 6pm. buti na lang may lakad din siya sa eastwood kaya hindi ko kailangan magmadali. arrived in eastwood around 7:30pm and met A. we waited for M in o'sonho, where we had A's birthday dinner. o'sonho is overpriced, imo, because the food wasn't fabulous. maybe because i ordered their pasta carbonara and i am not a fan of white sauce. i totally missed out on that detail when i ordered for that. M arrived. reminisced about the good ol' days. excused myself to meet up with a client then back to my friends at red mango to have dessert. M went ahead of A and i and we continued our chat at starbucks over frap and tea. my sister fetched me at 2:30am and i'm so happy that A stayed with me until my sundo came.

a day well spent ☺
sunday
daddy cooked dinuguan and inihaw na hito for lunch ♥♥♥ that was the highlight of my day.

daddy's going back to the province this week :( i reckon we will be celebrating AC's birthday in advance so daddy will still be here for her celebration. i miss having my whole family here.

week 20: hey, things are looking up

monday
lakwatsa day with ycel. meet-up in front of greenhills shopping center at 11am and good news is i wasn't late! i arrived on time. i even had time to go to the chapel and say a little prayer. lunch at le ching too, cos i thought they also have lemon chicken short orders or something like that but they only have dimsum- which was sort of a disappointment for us (or maybe just me cos i was really really hungry already). you know, wai ying may not be the most aesthetically appealing but they are one of the best chinese food places in the metro; personally, i think they have the best hakao and the best lemon chicken. started our shopping for ycel's stuff and we must have went through every nook and cranny in the whole greenhills complex and we only found less than ten articles of clothing... i think. after going through tiangge aisles one last time, we took a taxi going to shang.
to find the perfect pair of red shoes for ycel because she failed to find one that strikes her fancy in greenhills. poor ycel was already grimacing in pain- her feet were already aching because she had uncomfortable slippers on. she bought a pair of red shoes alright though she just settled for them. she also got a pair of cute espadrilles. i so wanted this nail polish color from orly and i paid a visit in rustan's to see if they have it already- wala pa rin. nail polish heaven but i can't bloody believe how a frickin' 15ml bottle of color can cost P800+  i was thinking if i were to buy an P800 bottle of nail polish for personal use, that would be unwise and if i were to buy it for my shop, i don't think my clients would pay additional 100 pesos for it. oh well. dinner at c2- yummy in my tummy!
we walked all the way to megamall to get on our respective "rides" - ycel in her biyaheng quiapo fx and me in my biyaheng santolan. classy, no? haha.

tuesday
back to reality. did my shop's laundry and because of that, just stayed at home the whole day cos my body was aching from all that kuskos-piga. ay piga lang pala. thanks to our handy dandy washing machine that doesn't drain water- you have to scoop the water out or turn it over to get the water out. i swear there's some kind of energy black hole in this house cos everything seems to break easily. stayed at home to continue my secret garden marathon while doing legit online research for expansion plans.

wednesday
sent labels for printing and yousendit was excruciatingly slow. must have spent almost the entire day sending files cos i can only send one file at a time being that i only use the free version. online research na lang uli. plus secret garden marathon. ang galing ko gumawa ng excuse, ano?

thursday
my client added 40pcs more to her order- yay! and so i have to pay a visit to my supplier. hitched a ride with my bro-in-law going to supplier and just took the lrt going home. i am so much in ♥ with the lrt right now, how it makes my life soooo much easier. got off at sle to pay my sister's card. a trip to national book store to buy a one-hole puncher. i so wanted to buy new pens but i was able to stop myself cos i already have quite a number of pens at home. one step at a time, eq, one step at a time ;)

friday
at rome to finish do additional order. then to the printer to pick up labels. started my job as a cutting machine- manually cutting labels. sorry naman at naeenjoy ko talagang gumupit ng papel haha. effect ata ito ng napanuod ko sa batibot dati. was supposed to deliver this weekend but because that seems impossible as i am not yet done with them, so moved delivery date on tuesday instead.
and oh, the new maid arrived. hallelujah!

saturday
i was supposed to finish my order in the morning then rex manning in the afternoon, but jo sent me a text early in the morning to ask if i'm free for lunch. i really wanted to beg off this time but i guess i also really wanted to get out of this house... two lakwatsas in a week- not good. lunch at italianni's in rp- complimentary foccacia bread dipped in olive oil, vinegar and parmesan cheese, calamari, ceasar salad and grilled pork chop. all that for two persons. how gluttonous, ya? gallivant around the mall then went to one of my favorite places in manila- divisoria. bought speckles that i wanted to add sana to my sanitizers but turned out they aren't the same speckles. boo.
going home time! it was raining real hard so napabili ako ng payong ng di oras. drat. now i have my own foldable payong with uber cute design. the streets were already flooded when i went outside and this is divisoria, my love, so i just can't tampisaw, y'know. normally, i wouldn't take a pedicab/kuliglig because 1) i fear for my life and, 2) they charge exorbitant rates, but i got on one to the tune of 70 pesos. not bad.
and so i got home safe and sound and still alive~ turns out it still wasn't the end of the world.

sunday
daddy's birthday! was supposed to attend mass at padre pio church but didn't get to go with them as i had to prepare stuff. lunch at savory in hypermart then dessert at starbucks in eastwood mall. with the babies! :) i ♥ starbuck's 5-cheese turnover. after mass, dinner at AD's with mommy, daddy and KB and family. life is good

i repeat- life is good. you just have to believe it to see it. i just have to remind myself that better days are yet to come whenever i'm having crappy days. i remember reading this off a batchmate's website- that's she's having a sucky day but she's still praising God cos she used to have sucky years. and on that note, i praise and thank God for not giving me sucky years. life is good.
