Something About Nail Polish

It's been a while since I posted about nail polish... I think. Haha. Biglang hindi ako sure. Anyhoo, went nail polish shopping earlier today and bought 16 bottles on sale! Yeehaw! I was only going to buy base and top coats but since their Cutex™ polish are on sale, I got all the available colors except the matte ones. Aside from Cutex, I also got two Bobbie bottles:

Bobbie Confetti in Party Peeps
Bobbie Sweet Speckles in Berry Brownie
Should've put a colored base under Party Peeps para mas obvious yung "confetti." Out of the two, I like Berry Brownie better. I've been wanting to buy something like this from The Face Shop- yogurt nails- but I keep forgetting to buy so by posting this, I will be reminded. Okay, tomorrow.

Weekend Round-up

Still awake. Today is my sister's birthday but she's not here to celebrate with us. This is the second time she's in another country on the day of her birthday. She doesn't know the existence of this blog but I'm still greeting her HAPPY BIRTHDAY! She asked me to do some errands for her. That and her paper on climate change...

Kamusta naman at 3 ang shampoo namin na Clear?

Buzzer-beaters talaga kami. We bought our PCD concert tickets only yesterday, the last day of the promo. After lunch at Galle, we went to SM Hypermart hoping that they sell concert tickets there. Wala pala. So we ended up buying three 200ml Clear shampoos... we don't really like Clear pa naman. The concert better be good. And I hope it won't rain on the 11th. Anyway... Megamall pa rin pala bagsak namin. Umiwas pa naman kami ng Megamall since we anticipated that looking for a parking space there would be a pain in the arse. To cut the long story short, we got our tickets already... at half the price :)

Wanna share pala my experience when my sister and I bought tickets. So we already bought tickets for the concert and then one of them asked us who will be watching. To which we replied, "Us." Then they informed us that pregnant women can't watch the concert. I just laughed it off but really, I want to break her neck. Haha.

The important thing is ya tenemos las entradas! I'm so excited!

After lunch at Galle, we went to Saizen. OMG, I ♥ Saizen. I swear it's a money wasteland. If you enter the store without anything in mind to buy, rest assured that you'll end up buying at least one item that you'll later on realized you don't really need. Haha.

I love that store! There are so so so many cute things. The P85 price tag could fool you into thinking everything's cheap but when you think about it, it's actually pretty expensive. Maybe I'd buy cute notebooks for P85 but I wouldn't buy small staplers at the same price. I could get staplers in National at a cheaper price. Basta, keep your guards up and do not end up buying everything that catches your fancy or else...

I have four new bottles of nail polish ♥

Saw this magazine shop in Galle that sells old editions of Sweet Valley Twins. Even just the sight of the books made me feel nostalgic. Grabe. But I'm more interested in Sweet Dreams. I hope I could find old Sweet Dreams books. I need a good, cheesy teenybopper love story to squirm to.

Classic.

My Favorite Things- December 2007

More nail polish... from Face Shop. Not really the best colors but these will do. These colors don't really go well with my skin tone pero keri na rin. Most of the clients go for these shades so it's actually better. My personal preference when it comes to nail polish shades are red like Brucci's Berrylicious and pinks like OPI's Strawerry Margarita.

This is the white eyelet dress I oh-so-want to covet! It will go well with those tights we have. Inspired by Blair Waldorf's outfit in the Wild Brunch episode. I've seen affordable versions of this dress in SM but my sister said it's sold out already. Shoot. I don't want to frickin' look like everyone else. And tights are making its way to the general public, too! I plan to don a dress and tights combo on Christmas and I hope that not a lot of girls have the same idea in mind. Basta, bahala na si Batman. I just hope that it will be extra cool this Christmas so it wouldn't be too much of a discomfort to wear tights.

I Think I'm Addicted

The stash arrived.

And I am so ecstatic over it.

Uncle Er arrived from the States and I've received goodies from Danielle~ 10 bottles of nail polish! There were supposed to be 10 bottles but a bottle broke. Sayang talaga since it was the Boathouse Red color that she said was her favourite. Of course, I don't have the heart to tell her that bottle broke. I don't want to burden her with it anymore. Anyway, I am still happy happy joy joy over the fact that I have ten nine new, pretty bottles of nail polish.

Essie: Huckle Buckle, E-nuff is E-nuff, *dunno & Minimalistic

OPI: Malaysian Mist, Puerto Valarta Violeta, Strawberry Margarita, Most Honorable Red, Suzi Loves Sydney
