Day 28 → A concert you have attended

Pussycat Dolls concert in 2006 at the Araneta Coliseum. Loved it and was inspired to lose weight so I could whittle my waist a lá PCD. Unfortunately, instead of losing weight, I gained pa! Boo! Some girls have all the luck.

catch-up post, 30-day challenge edition

30-day challenge is boring me, entonces, no lo hago. That's me, so eager to start with a project and then I get bored towards the end. I missed four days already so here's three of the four days I've missed. Three because I am so lazy to take a picture of whatever it is that could be inside our automobile. Plus, it says photo of something in my vehicle, I don't have a vehicle, so there.



Day 25 → Favorite clothing
At this point in my life, ANYTHING THAT FITS.
That would mean anything that was recently bought. And just recently, I actually go for items that are of quality. I used to buy from Divisoria where it's cheaper but I noticed that I after just a few wears, it either looks to worn-out already or broken like missing buttons, etc. I also love "vintage" (Read: ukay stuff).

Day 27 → Favorite story

What Katy Did  is my favorite story growing up. Not a fairytale. Buti na lang I grew up with this as my favorite story and not a fairy tale or else princess-princess ang drama ko. Blech. Hindi ako prinsesa. Reyna ako! Haha.
There's this inspiring saying that Katy's father told her when she was having an unlucky day~

Dr. Carr reminded Katy that what happened to her during her day were all consequences of her previous actions, decisions. Kind of like a domino effect. Similar to Gojocco's teaching: There are no accidents.

Day 24 → Random fact about you

Random fact about me na naman? Honestly, I can't think of anything interesting I can share about myself. Hmm... Okay, here it is: I still don't know what my blood type is.

This 30-day challenge is getting boring and now feels more like a chore. After this, I think I won't be starting anything like this that would require me to post something everyday.

Just want to rant about lack of inspiration. I still can't come up with a design for my label and my sister who does is for a living won't help me. She will (daw) but I would have to send her an email first. What the heck? We live in the same friggin' house! Kabog pa niya ang red tape sa gobierno.

Day 18 → Random fact about you

Because I'm such a bore and can't think of any interesting fact about myself, this is a random fact about me:

I was born a premature baby at 8 months, placenta previa.

Told ya :P Doctor said had we arrived a minute later, my mommy and I wouldn't have made it. Several years later, doctor who delivered me was shocked to find out I lived. I must really have a grand purpose in life for me to not die back then. Pressure. Haha. Anyway, I want to find out whatever that purpose/s is/are.

Day 17 → Favorite musicals/plays

I'm a lucky girl because I was exposed to theater very early in life as my sister is a theater actor and she is connected with one of the theater groups here in the country. And most often than not, I get to watch these plays for free ☺ But out of all the plays I've seen, I have to say that Avenue Q is my favorite; Maybe because I watched it at the time of my life when I can totally relate to it.

Of course, included in my favorites are the plays/musicals my sister starred in.

Day 16 → Favorite music

Basically anything that catches my fancy. I don't really have a type per se. I will like anything from Britney Spears to Rascal Flatts to Linkin Park to Lenka.

Day 15 → What you wanted to be as a child

A lawyer.
I'm not and I could never be happier for choosing this path I'm in now.

Day 14 → Guilty Pleasures

Day 14 being done on Day 15 because we didn't have electricity almost the entire day yesterday- power outage in Metro Manila because of typhoon Bashang. Okay, eto na, my guilty pleaures:

•  Twilight saga/ Edward Cullen Actually, it's a love/hate relationship I have with Twilight and Edward. I like how Edward loves Bella but I am annoyed at how Bella loves Edward. And please, Stephenie Meyer, come out with Midnight Sun already cos I don't really give a hoot about Bella's thoughts- and that's after reading listening four Twilight audiobooks and three movies :P
• Coke Yes, I still feel guilty. Just way too much sugar for me...
• white boy Oh, yes! Super guilty na guilty to the nth power ako dito. 

Can't think of anything else right now... pressed for time. Will add when I come up with more.

Day 13 → Addictions

Gosh, I have many. I have an addictive personality so I pretty get addicted to everything I like and yeah, it's something akin to the freakishly stalkerish kind. When I like something (or someone), I want to find out everything about it. As in EVERYTHING. I wanna have it everyday, if possible.

So without further ado, my addictions as of the moment are:

1. tumblr Still. Not as much though but it still eats up much of my time, most especially that it's not as easy to find nice pictures and quotes like before. Ang dami kong fina-follow pero parang mas unti nakikita kong maganda.
2. FOX TV Destiny has FOX channel already. Happy, happy me☺ I like almost everything except Cops. I ♥ Bones, NCIS, The Family Guy, Simpsons and Modern Family. I love Modern Family!
3. Juicy! Haha. That's the chismosa in me. I must have my daily dose of chika and blind item! Wee. Hatinggabi na, sasagap at sasagap pa rin. 
4. Yukon The card game in my phone. 
5. White boy Word. 
6. Pink! Blame it on my sister who wants our room Princess-themed. My sister who's 35 years old. Paurong, haha. Anyway, I hate princess themes and think girls who think of themselves as princesses are frickin' weird but I wanna go with the theme of the room and not be contra-bulate to AC's trip. Liking my new pink dry-erase board, pink polka-dotted printer desk and pink sheets. 
7. Eyebrows, eyebrow pencils and brow powders Basically anything that has something to do with my brows. I overplucked mine and currently practicing self-control to not pluck out more.

My room☺ when it's not frickin' hot. I'm at my most comfortable when I'm in my room.

Mi nuevo icono de moda: Olivia Palermo. Alongside Rachel Bilson's, her wardrobe is what I want to covet as of the moment. And the hair... Oh, what I wouldn't give for hair like that. I read somewhere that she is the inspiration for Blair Waldorf's character in Gossip Girl. I do see the resemblance. I covet!

Day 07: Best Day of Your Life

When I was announced First Place in our Science Quiz Bee in 7th grade. How babaw, 'no? But that time it really felt like the best day of my life. I remember it so vividly, I was seating on the bleachers in the gym, it was after a First Friday mass celebration and there were some reminders being said. I sincerely thought I wouldn't place, kasi naman I was going against the best. When I heard my name, I was shocked. Super. Feeling ko nanalo ako ng Ms. Universe. Haha.

Day 06: Worst Job You Ever Had

Customer Service Representative aka call center agent. Blech! I lasted only a month in there- 3 weeks in training and a week on the floor.
