spontaneous movie day-out with A. originally planned to stay in the shop the entire day, even forgone the field trip with ic friends. just went to buy some stuff with AD and AC for a wee bit so i didn't even bother putting on my eyebrows and my handy-dandy imperfection eraser aka ang pambura ko ng mukha aka bareminerals funda. so when A sent me a text asking if i was free this afternoon, i hesitated at first. but since i last saw her two months ago, i decided to go meet up with her. hence, our movie date with thor.
no expectations whatsoever. which is a good thing, actually.
i liked it. it's a mishmash of everything- romance, drama, action, a bit of comedy. plus, i think the cast is perfect! chris hemsworth did a freakin' awesome job as thor. those piercing blue eyes... oh my god. here's where my matronic self comes in- those abs. haha. natalie portman is adorable as well. normally, i see her in serious roles and this one made me see her in a different light. the world really isn't fair. i mean, what can this woman not do- beautiful, talented and intelligent. not fair. and who wouldn't love kat dennings? she's so kyoot!!! i was laughing on that part when jane foster and professor erik were discussing about the einstein-rosen bridge and darcy (kat dennings) asked what's that. the professor wondered that if she's supposedly a science major, how come she doesn't know what the einstein-rosen bridge is. then darcy states that she is a political science major. sorry na kung mababaw ako pero natawa ako ng sobra dito.
totally worth your 180 so go watch it in the cinemas. i am not really a fan of 3D chuva but if you wanna go for full thor experience, go watch it in 3D. though it won't require that anymore to enjoy it. i'm so excited for the avengers!
