While watching [Channel V] last night, I saw someone who has an uncanny resemblance al amor de mi vida. The guy really, really, really looks like him~ the specs, the goatee... basta. For a moment there, I would really like to believe that it was him I was seeing on tv. At the risk of sounding really pathetic, I need to say that I need some sort of closure such as he's already married or gay... whatever. Well, the feeling doesn't really haunt me on a daily basis. Let's just say that once in a while, I reminisce about it. For example, yesterday when Juno sent me a sappy, mushy quote... guess who it reminded me of ~ no less than him. So today all my thoughts are of him. This feeling may go away later or tomorrow... uhhh, wait, this might last pala until the end of this month cos it'll be his birthday el 30 dia del agosto which is exactly a week before mine. He'll be 28 by then, 4 years older than I am.
Crap. This feeling's really crappy but I still wish I'd see him just so I could say that I don't like him anymore. The only source of information I have of him is his friendster account and he has taken it down already. So now I am very much clueless as to what he's up to. Friendster's really handy for in-denial stalkers like me. Haha. Anyway, the last thing I knew of him was that he broke up with his Filipina girlfriend (who just happened to be my sister's barkada back in 7th grade... small world, riiiight).
Mortal love is but the licking of honey from thorns.
Then again, was it really love?

Just practicing
iHola!

PCD Concert
Watched the Pussycat Dolls Concert last night at the Araneta Coliseum. Woot. I'm so awe-stricken with their performance. Ang galing-galing! I just wish I was seated nearer the stage. I should have bought a ticket instead. From where my sister and I were seated, they were smaller than an inch. But still... I have seen them perform live. Live! It was a really, really good concert.
Here are some snippets from the concert. Haay, if Crissa would ask me again what I want to be in a perfect world, I would have to say a Pussycat Doll.
I super loved their concert. It's none of my business what they wear anyway, so... ya esta.

During the concert, they had this portion when they called in 6 participants from the audience who would "show them what they've got," PCD style. Nakakaloka! From the 6 participants, the little boy won. And the gay one. I don't really get it why we are so fascinated, if not obsessed, with gay culture. If I was the parent of that little boy, I'd be scared shit ngayon pa lang. Who, in their right minds, would take an 8-year-old boy to a PCD concert? And dancing like that to make matters worse. If you're like a 17 year old boy I'd understand why you would want to see PCD live, but little boys?

Oh Yeah, Baby!
Well, well, well... lookie what we have here,

I am going to see the Pussycat Dolls concert later at the Araneta. Woohoo! My sister and I were really planning on going even if we didn't these two lovely tickets. But since I won these, we'll be watching for free, baby!
I won these tickets on the radio. You could say beginner's luck as it was my first time to join anything on the radio. So here's what happened:
I was waiting in line for an FX. Usually, I listen to my music and not to the radio when I am on my way home. But during this particular Tuesday night, I opted to listen to the radio. And instead of tuning into RX, which is the station I listen to more often, I tuned into Magic.
I was near our house when they announced that they're giving away tickets for the PCD concert. I thought I'd give it a shot. Who knows, right? So I typed the needed information according to the format given and when I was about to send it, I forgot the number to send it to. I was able to text in my entry some 10 minutes later and obviously, I can't be the 35th texter. I even hesitated for awhile since I know I won't make it as the 35th texter. Then I though what the heck and sent it anyway. I hoped for the best but at the same time, I didn't keep my hopes high. I went up, turned on the PC but kept on listening to the radio.
After a few minutes, they tried calling the 35th texter (no, it wasn't me). On the first try, someone asnwered but put it down immediately. They tried calling her twice but nobody was picking up. That was when they decided to pick another one instead. And then I heard our phone ring. I didn't pick up cos I was surfing the net and ironing my hair straight at the same time. Manang Bebot answered the phone then put it down. It rang again. She answered it then put it down again. Then the third time it rang. I put on my earphones (which I removed for they were getting in the way of me straightening my hair) and heard Manang's voice on the radio. Upon realizing that it was I who they were calling, I ran as fast as I can downstairs while yelling, "Manang, akin yan!" The rest, as they say, is history.
Heaps of thanks to CJ and Faith, the DJs who picked my number from the sea of text messages received that night.

heartbroken :(
Even if I don't have a crush on Darren Hayes anymore, I am still heartbroken over finding out that he has finally came out of the closet and married his boyfriend of 2 years. Schiiit. After all those years of defending him from people who kept on saying he's gay and this is what I get? A confirmation of what I was dismissing as a blatant lie? Akala ko effeminate lang siya. Bakla pala talaga. Hmph.
I'm sad. Really sad. When my sister told me that Darren Hayes already married his boyfriend, Richard Cullen, I was in shock and totally couldn't believe what I just heard. Oh shit. I should've known that was bound to happen but I was too much in denial that he is ACTUALLY GAY. Come to think of it, his idols were Madonna, George Michael and Elton John.

My 5-year Savage Garden fixation were full of lies and deception. Utot. I should have spent my time and attention on real boys...
Just recently, I even asked my sister how it would feel if you find out that your crush is gay. Dang! I should be asking that question to myself instead. I was even laughing at former Lance Bass crushers cos he is obviously gay but still denying it. Ang bilis nga naman ng karma.
Oh gosh... I still cringe at the thought that Darren Hayes is gay.
Haha. I think I'm beginning to sound like a super-obsessed shizophrenic here. Oh yeah, I was once obsessed with Savage Garden. My dad even referred to it as idolatry. I even cried when I found out that the Philippines was not a part of their 1998 Asian Tour (kasi naman... kelan pa naging Asian Tour and concert sa Singapore at Malaysia?).
So what do I do now with all my SG CD collection, recordings, magazine cut-outs and articles? I might as well keep them as remembrance of my failed love obsession. Nyak.
Kainis. Bakla silang lahat!

A week has passed and my PC is still not working. Bummer. I'm bringing it to my cousin already. I think a pro has to do it or I might break it even further.
Haaay... I'm so pissed off these days. I'm just glad that it'll be the Holy Week soon. That means no work for 4 glorious days! Alleluia! But first, I want to rant about the effy stuff that happened this past week. First, I hate it that they're relocating the office kitchen downstairs due to some OC person's ka-OC-han. I am not pissed at the idea that they're relocating it. I'm pissed off because we're relocating it for this one person. We're paying for most of the rent anyway so why does she get to decide where the office kitchen should be? Primadonna. Second, I just hate meetings. I guess I have to put up my own business quick cos of my aversion to formalities. I hate meetings. I hate meetings. I hate meetings.
I'm just glad that I have the bestest friends ever. Even though work has been shitty, I have my friends to make me feel better. I hung out with my BFFs for the weekend.
Friday night with Armida. Initial plan: tambay sa bahay. Then we changed our minds. We went to Shangri-la instead. After eating, we can't think of anythign else to do and we still have 4 more hours to go. Ayun, inikot namin ang buong Shangri-la.
Saturday, Juno and I went to Divisoria (suki) to eat at Wai Ying and to buy more Korean series and movies. It was scorching hot and I was also carrying this super heavy bag since I was sleeping over at Juno's . Plus, I borrowed Juno's HS yearbook and so I was carrying it with me the entire time we were scouring the streets of Divi. Happy din cos I already have the 2nd half of Goong. Kinikilig na ako! We were supposed to have a movie/series marathon of the titles we bought but we ended up watching none because I slept early. Well, we were actually watching Spanglish but halfway thru the movie, I fell asleep. But you see, I was having a terrible headache that time. Sorry Juno kasi tinulugan kita hehe. Next time uli, with the rest of the gang.
The sleepover at Juno brought back memories~ with some I'd rather forget. She asked me to bring the dreaded Conversation Notebooks. Grabe! Black mail material. I can't bloody believe that I wrote those things. Sappy. Mushy. Baduy. Eeeew. I would never again profess undying love on paper. Kadiri to death. Anyway, I miss our T-parties. Once you pop, you can't stop. Mabuhay ang sabog, mabuhay si Juno.
