week 18: unfinished businesseseses

how i wish that everything were dipindot in this part of the world. i think i can live without a maid if i weren't doing anything else. i'm stressed because we still don't have a maid, can't go to my shop because we still don't have a maid and because of business matters. these days, i seem to have some sort of enmity towards maids. kung dati i refer to them as househelps and kasambahay, but from now on they will be maids and katulong to me. my dad implements this buddy-buddy system with the maids- to befriend them, bring them pasalubong, give them stuff, etc. but that doesn't seem to be working. from now on they will be what they are- maids. i don't understand why these people who have nothing to eat or doesn't have meals regularly, be picky with food. i mean, c'mon, i can't even be picky with my food. back when i was younger, i wouldn't eat my veggies (tambo), hid it inside the cabinet and my dad found out, he made me sit in front of my plate for hours. so i learned my lesson and do what my father told me- kainin kung ano ang nakahain sa mesa. so i really don't get it why we have maids don't eat pangat, big fish, small fish, bangus, vegetables, chicken and so on and so forth. so kamusta naman at ang haba na ng tirada ko sa mga katulong namin? now i that i have gotten this off my chest, sana okay na yung mga susunod na katulong namin. hay.

okay, back to regular programming...

monday

mommy's birthday and mommy and daddy's wedding anniversary! but because we don't have a housemaid, we were doing chores almost the entire day. my toca was the ironing of the clothes but instead of doing it in the ironing area, i brought the clothes to AB's room, turned on the a/c and put on from prada to nada on the dvd et voila! it's not as bad as it seems ;)
celebration dinner at grilla in antipolo, overlooking the city. scrumptious sisig, crispy pata and kare kare for dinner. i really wish we were complete now.

tuesday

supposedly, the new housemaid will be arriving today but alas! she didn't get on the boat. boo. and to think V and i were on our way to pick her up at the pier. she contracted chickenpox DAW and if we can wait, she'll still come here when she gets better. well chickenpox my ass but i still want to give her the benefit of the doubt. also, this is the nth day of my being the críada. i deserve something good for my hard labor. haha. started watching secret garden.

wednesday

i was supposed to go to the shop >finally!< but then V asked if i could help taking care of her kids, my nephews, as she will have to go to a meeting today. AD fetched me around 6pm for our market research ;) i really want to make this work so bad. i need to make it work.

thursday

went to the shop early because i want to turn over a new leaf and be there and oversee operations. brought also my colognes for sale. i need to turn them to cash asap, haha! well, so then i received a phone call from home asking i can come home because all of them are leaving. oh well taong-bahay na naman ang drama ko. and then mommy and daddy arrived, and also AD. ate dinner at AD's house. how convenient, ya?

friday

i was supposed to go to the shop (shoulda, woulda, coulda- story of my life) but AD called and asked if i could go with her to her office because she needs to give something to her officemate but she needs me to go up to her office and leave it at the lobby. AD had an accident early this morning and so she wasn't able to go to work and she can't shop up at work anymore, entonces, moi! merienda with AD, mommy and daddy at pan de amerikana near white plains. i had baked macaroni- cheese heaven! i wish i were a landlady of leisure right now, as in right now! so i can go out with my family everyday without money being a consideration.

saturday

as usual hindi ako nagpunta sa shop but i have a valid excuse- went to the supplier to buy equipment for the shop. i thought it would only take us an hour, two hour tops but what's supposed to be a half-day thing turned into a whole day affair. at talagang affair siya, ano? how come divisoria as early as now is this crowded? the parental units are home when i got home but they didn't want to cook for dinner so instead we just ate out and daddy volunteered my as the sponsor. i tried to begged off as i just spent a fortune on the machines but then i gave in- ano ang silbi ng handy dandy credit card? dinner at max's. default order of half spring chicken ♥♥♥ and bottomless pepsi. i am such a pig.

sunday

so i woke up with a tummy ache. must be i had too much to eat yesterday. i learned that i should eat breakfast always or else i end up binging. mother's day pala. pacquiao fight but i'm not a fan of boxing. too much violence, i don't like. i just can't. it was raining the entire day and our sunroof (or whatever you call this roof thingy mommy had built near the dining/kitchen area) is letting in water inside the house. and because we still don't have a maid, i had to mop all the effin' water. after mass, dinner at hap chang in marikina. service was sloooow. the food was okay. got my dose of lemon chicken but still wai ying stumps them all.

although it was a tiring week, doing all those house work and then some... it was a happy week spent with my family ♥ i just wish we'll have new househelps soon so i can then fully concentrate on being a billionaire.
