Haynako. Been really really busy these days~ hodgepodge of many, many things. I don't know why October is being such a pain in the arse. Because of these more important things that have been happening in our lives, I was unable to do my weekly takes on Gossip Girl and Glee and I wasn't able to blog more often like before. Anyway, here's my short takes on GG's episodes 3, 4 and 5.
Episode 3- The Lost Boy
Creepy love team rigodon, I swear. I'm getting sick of these supposedly college students switching partners just like that. And what's weirder is that they belong to the same circle and seems like they're okay with that.
Take Serena and Dan, for example. Once upon a time, they were so in love with each other but then shit happened and then suddenly they were step-siblings. Nate, Chuck and Blair also make a weird, weird set-up. Nate and Chuck are best friends. Nate and Blair were once an item. Nate and Blair broke up because Chuck and Blair hooked up and now they're going on a double date? Although Blair and Chuck's relationship is starting to grow on me. It seems like Chuck is really changing his spots...
Eeew.. Nate is such a manwhore. Plus, I really hate that Bree Buckley actress. Not the character, take not. Hope they got another actress for Bree Buckley's character.
Poor Scott. Now I know where his emo-ness is coming from.
Episode 4- Dan de Fleurette
Yay! Hilary Duff (Olivia Burke) is finally here! I kinda missed seeing her on TV. I used to watch Lizzie McGuire religiously. Though I admit seeing little Lizzie all grown up sends me into panic mode. They grow up so fast. ** sigh **
Lucky, lucky Dan Humphrey. How does he manage to attract such beauties when he is not really that cute. Well, I used to think he was cute way back when he still didn't think too much of himself. I'm excited to see more of of Dan and Olivia. Would Serena suddenly get all territorial over Dan? I'm sensing there's still some sort of "feelings" between Serena and Dan. Or maybe that's just me holding on to the original pair I oh-so-loved?
With Blair unable to find minions in college, she goes back to Constance Billard where she once reigned supreme. I can relate to this so much. During my first days in college, I super missed high school and kept coming back to my old, HS campus. Because everything in college is unfamiliar, I kept coming back to this familiar place. Eventually, I grew out of HS and got into the groove of being in university. I know Blair will eventually grow out of her teenybopper sleepover phase. Haha.
I'm really beginning to like Chuck Bass...
Episode 5- Rufus Getting Married
Finally, Rufus and Lily got married. After 48 years and too much drama, they finally got hitched. And also in this episode, Rufus and Lily finally find out Scott is their love child. Their brood's getting bigger, y'all!
And I'm going to end it with that. Am super lazy to add anything else to this round up. New episode later today. I'm going to "make bawi" (quoting our Comcalc prof, Ms. Larios) in this week's episode.
