Another Yoon Eun-hye drama. The drama was adapted from a Korean manga. Not as good as Goong but I enjoyed it as well. May mga moments lang talaga na "hello!" Basta.
Go Eun-chan (Eun-hye) plays a tomboy here who gets mistaken for a boy by Choi Han-kyul (Gong Yoo). The plot thickens when Han-kyul hires Eun-chan to pretend as his gay lover, not knowing that Eun-chan is indeed a girl, to get out of blind dates his grandma arranges for him. Then Han-kyul puts up a coffee shop called Coffee Prince, hence the title.
Han-kyul hired Eun-chan (still clueless as to her real gender) and 3 others. He must triple the amount his grandma invested on the coffee shop within six months and within those six months Eun-chan started to fall for Han-kyul. Han-kyul also starts to feel something for Eun-chan but since he thinks Eun-chan is a boy, tries to fight it. Han-kyul even tried to address their closeness as a hyung-dongsaeng relationship but still his feelings of looove for Eun-chan is so strong. Basta eventually he finds out Eun-chan's true gender. At first he was mad since he felt betrayed and cheated but, of course, also relieved that he is not gay.
Funny but I got squeamish on some scenes.
And I don't think Eun-chan looks sooo much like a boy that Han-kyul would never suspect that she is actually a girl. Pero nga, drama lang ito... hindi na kailangan gugulan ng maraming panahon para pag-isipan. It's there to give people a good laugh.
And this is the only Korean drama Ate Dot watched. Ha! Finally, nahulog na rin siya sa bitag ng Korean series! Bwahahaha! Since Ate Che and Bam were in Boracay for the holiday, she was my fellow Coffee Prince viewer.
Para kay Juno...
WALA SIYANG BABA!!!
Hahaha!!!
