Last Sunday, I had the greatest splurge ever.

Beautiful!!!

Anyway, I really enjoy going to work right now cos I so get along with the new recruit. We have this not-so-good habit of snacking on Coke, banana-q and pancit canton every afternoon.

This past week, we've been pooling interviewees. Only a few were interested. Maybe because we're not yet a well-known brand. But it's still work, people.

Well, it was my first time conducting an interview. Honestly, it bored the hell out of me. I was occasionally trying to steal some yawns whenever the applicant looks away. I also can't help but look back on the times when it was me being interviewed. I bet I was one of those who really looked nervous and fidgety with all those hand gestures.

We interviewed people from 18 to 22 years old. They're mostly high school graduates and college drop outs. Initially, I can't help but be empathy towards them with all their sob stories. But then I realized that they're just a bunch of rascals. If you need a job that bad, you'll take anything that comes your way and do it well, right? Sad, puppy dog eyes. I'm not falling for that anymore. If anyone tells me that he has a 1-year-old kid he has to support or their father left them for another woman... I won't frickin' care cos you know what~ it's not my problem.

Hay buhay.

Anyhoo, my classmates and I ate ate lunch together after class. "Inspired" by a classmate's recent break-up, we talked mainly about relationships. We're mostly girls so we complained about how Filipino men are spoiled rotten. As I have no experiences with relationships whatsoever, I am getting paranoid with all the stories. I think I may not want to get into relationships anymore or get married. It might be better to stay single and use my savings for travel when I'm older as opposed to using it for my future kids' tuition. Very tempting, no? This early, I am deciding to spare myself from heartaches and headaches alike. [Update: I changed my mind. I want to have my own family. I want to have kids. - 1/11/08]
