Still not completely out of my rut.

It's ate che's first day at work today after her accident. Hopefully, she'd be okay there. It's good for her that she'll be busy with other things so she could not think about her leg. When she stays here in the house, she has lots of idle time to worry about her leg and what it's going to look like when the cast goes off.

Manang has decided not to come back anymore. In other words, lumayas na siya. Good riddance.

And my mom told me that if I weren't God's gift to her, she would have thrown me away. And that was just the cherry on top. All these years I was unsure of whether she really is concerned about me and what she said this morning just confirmed it. She loves me (supposedly) because God gave me to her and not because I am her daughter. Takot lang siya kay God pero kung hindi, baka nga tinapon niya na ako. And that very clever and touching statement of hers just made me closer to her. NOT!

And now I so miss my daddy!!!

And there are 3 things that made my day despite of the shitty stuff...

1. Charlee's birthday! I miss the DJ Bunch. I miss Charlee! Just last year she celebrated her 2nd birthday with us here in Pasig... Time flies talaga...

2. Danielle's email. It's not really much but I really love receiving personal emails. Not those forwarded chain letter stuff.

3. Hermana Marissa's thank you card.

What to do?

Yesterday morning I was woken up by my sister. My father wants to talk to me daw. I thought what matter is so urgent that I had to be waken up. So I had a long distance scolding. Technically, it's not a scolding since he was just showing me the cards of the game. He's making the facts of life known to me. No offense taken. It hurt because all he was saying were true and it hit me right smack into where it should hit me.

So for the nth time I am a faced with this question: Ano ba talaga ang balak ko sa buhay ko? What the hell do I want to do with my life? In Charlee's words: Ano'ng gawa mo sa buhay mo tita joy?

The answer is: I do not know YET.

What the people around me are saying is right- that I am not getting any younger. I am approaching a quarter of a century and yet I haven't had anything I can say as an accomplishment. I've been trying to justify this by saying that God has better plans for me and that the right opportunity will come along. I've been coming up with those justifications for years now and until this day, there hasn't been any manifestations of what I believe in. God helps those who help themselves, so maybe I haven't been doing anything.

I know it's a decision I have to make. It's a decision I JUST have to make.

After frantic searching, I found myself 4 more got milk? ads from my sister's magazines.

Stockard Channing's & Clint Black's ads were from Real Simple magazines.
Garfield's was from Marie Claire.
Amelia Vega's was from People en Español.

Now I have to go through the In Syle mags. I know I saw somewhere the Dixie Chicks ad.

got milk?

I love collecting. I collect just about anything. I collect stamps. I collect movie posters from magazines. I used to collect angels but then realized that it's too easy to collect. I collect notebooks. I collect teenybopper videos. I collect Korean series and movies. I used to collect stationeries and stickers. I collect old letters. I collect lots of stuff. And I also collect got milk? ads.

In other words, ako'y basurera. Just like my mom, but I've never gotten to collecting milk cartons yet. Haha!

Back to got milk? ads... I started collecting these back in high school. My sister had lots of magazines and I'm fond of tearing out pages from her magazines. I remember back then, I used to carefully tear out the pages so that she wouldn't notice that someone had tear out a page. But now she knows about it already, in fact she was the one who showed the Sheryl Crow got milk? ad to me.

Just yesterday, I was soooo proud of my got milk? ad collection. But I got OC and looked it up in the internet for the want to find out what if I missed some of the ads. And omigosh the list was overwhelming! Turns out I don't have MOST of the ads! And I thought my collection is something to be proud about, ha!

Here are the milk ads that I ALREADY HAVE..Panis ang koleksyon ko! Hmph! And the other ads were released like 10 years ago! How am I supposed to get a hold of those now? And of course it's much fun when it's teared right out from a magazine than downloading it then printing it out.

So my friends, if you happen to have any got milk? ads that aren't in my possession yet, can I have it instead? Please!

Josh Hartnett's here in the Philippines!! Wow!

I know my reaction's quite delayed since this was last week's news pa. But I only got the time to blog about it now. Well, I decided to write about it since something happened last night in Compostela Valley where they were filming their movie.

Josh Hartnett and the others were supposed to be in Mt. Diwalwal in Compostela Valley, as the news reported. And just last night, there was this news that there was another landslide in the province, killing 8. But of course, I was more concerned on whether or not Josh Hartnett and the others were affected by the landslide. What a ditz!
