project 100: the out-of-towners, chaperone, morning glory

yay for movie marathon mondays!

the out-of-towners
hilarious. not originally in my list but came across this one while channel surfing; caught this one on hbo ☺ a middle-aged couple from ohio goes to new york where they were met with a serious of unfortunate events.
funny. as in i was cracking up every now and then.
i love this movie. i love steve martin.

the chaperone
in the tradition of wrestlers making their way into the big screen, a cutesie patootsie movie. it was nice and i enjoyed watching it but the same, old plot. the rock in the game plan and the tooth fairy.
ray gets out of prison after seven years and tries to rekindle his relationship with his daughter. it was entertaining, though i would never believe that a twelve-year-old girl could drive a big bus.
eh pelikula nga naman. lahat posible ;)

morning glory
rachel mcadams!
even if this movie sucked, i would've loved it still because of rachel mcadams. but it didn't suck. it was actually good. a nice surprise, actually, since i was kinda expecting it to be bad.
after being fired from a local network, becky fuller (mcadams) was hired as executive prod of an ailing morning show. she gave it time and effort and believed that it they can make it work.
this movie made me believe that everyone can have a happy ending.
