it was all yellow

their dresses, i mean.
a post a week late due to busy schedule and/or time mismanagement.

went to tagaytay last friday to be my sister's "official photographer." we left home 6:30am so we could be in tagaytay by 8am.

usually, tagaytay at this time of the year isn't chilly. but thanks to global warming (or should that be no thanks?), it was cool and breezy. i can live with a climate like that. i want a climate like that. but i reckon it's still too far from 'civilization.' i want malls to be in walking distance. the bride and her entourage were checked in at the taal vista lodge, so we hung out there for a pretty much long time. my sister and her seamstress had to do some repairs to some dresses which i think were perfectly fine before the "repairs." but i like the bride- she's so calm and collected and not pa-importante at all and i like her simple, classy wedding.
after our first set, we went out first to have lunch. it was a friday and supposedly, no meat on fridays. but we begged off from abstinence from meat because we were on vacation. wala na ngang coke, wala pang meat? sisig sounded perfect to me and i must have sisig! lunch at dencio's- sisig, laing and bulalo.

went back to the lodge to assist the bride and her entourage get ready for the event. took more pictures of everyone donning their frocks.

the wedding ceremony was at the beautiful calaruega chapel. i love small chapels because i feel close to God when i pray in chapels. i remember back in high school, i would always visit the oratory every morning. small, solemn chapels are my thing, y'know. haha. also, if and when i get married, i want it in a small chapel too. hindi mukhang aalog-alog and mga guests mo na piniling tig-iisa silang pew.
well, it depends on the person getting married. i guess it all boils down to preference. while others would want a big wedding in a cathedral or a beach wedding, i prefer mine in small chapels where just people who really care about me could fit in. anyway...

it was a beautiful wedding all in all. it went out smoothly. perfect. well, maybe except for the part when the priest said another name in place of the bride's. an honest mistake, i'm sure. na-confuse lang si father. i even got teary-eyed.

had merienda at bag of beans before setting out on our journey back home. had caramel macchiato and blueberry cheescake. again. was it just me or their caramel macchiato doesn't taste like the first one i had? or maybe didn't enjoy it as much cos of the splitting headache i had that time. traffic going back to manila was horrible. buti na lang i wasn't the driver cos i was able to sleep on our way home. madaya! oh well.

so that was my event last week. my event this week would be the script's concert this saturday. so so so excited already ☺
